Penn & Teller showcase the hypocrisy of environmentalists by having them sign a petition to ban Dihydrogen Monoxide.....commonly referred to as water.

Yes Donald,
It could also be called di-hydrogen monoxide. Or the name you used hydrogen hydroxide. All indicate two molecules of hydrogen to one molecule of oxygen constitute this dangerous compound.
Hey, it's not difficult to make in the lab, burn hydrogen and oxygen - Whoosh, then grow new eyebrows LOL
Al Gore's been making too much of this stuff recently, just look at Queensland and Northern NSW
Not wanting to put a dampener (pun intended) on the tale - I was taught in 1st year high school that the correct scientific terminology is Hydrogen Hydroxide HOH since mixing Hydrogen and hydroxide is the way it is formed in the lab.
They fall for the Di-Hydrogen petition, time after time:
At Cancun Mexico COP16: (sound is variable)
At Rutgers University:
And this is the next generation that are environmentalist, NGO's, government employees
Heaven help us.
Penn & Teller are magicians, illusionists and most of all entertainers. In getting people to sign this petition there was no magic involved. In this youtube they demonstrate how environmentalists use illusions to trick people in supporting them & the environmental cause. Penn & Teller in this case didn’t use outright lies, just alarmist language, stretched the truth on one side on the negative side of the equation and failed to balance it with the overwhelming positives of one the things on this earth that we can’t live without – water.
Something like that - this new information that has come to light shows that trusting computers to forward plan something that is as changeable as the weather is doomed to failure.

Lynette, this isn't one situation you have in mind?
Dihydrogen monoxide is one of the deadliest compounds on the planet. It can kill you in minutes if you inhale it in its liquid form. If it hits you hard enough in its solid form it can also be deadly. And in its gaseous form it can also kill if enough of it envelopes you. It can cause serious damage to the surface of the planet. Yes - let's do everything we can to ban this insidious chemical!!! LOL.
Personally, I think the best way to deal with dihydrogen monoxide is to trap it behind concrete barriers so that it can be carefully released in controlled amounts. Of course, that requires people with intelligence and common sense to control it, not people who are convinced that computers can do the work for them.
Ha ha, I guess it shows we should enquire before we sign, Dale
