Wagga Clown Club is a group of volunteers who are there and available for community events and fundraisers where clowns are needed.  We are free and just support local events in the Riverina area at the moment, so am looking for willing volunteers who love to clown and perform. Also looking for willing actors to volunteer and who can act in some skits in schools...with issues such as anti-bullying, drugs, police and respect for others which the Wagga Clown Club initiates.   

So far this year we have done a Children's Hospital Ward, an open day at a Community College, a concert at a Special Needs School, at the Kapooka Army Village Community, Wagga Base Hospital Auxiliary Fundraiser at the Gardens, the Girl Guides, Mothers Day and Queens Birthday weekend.  Events coming up we will be offering smiles at some Markets, REX Airlines Open Day in September, a Fair in Coolamon and The Wagga Base Hospital Fete in November.   We have also been asked to be present at some local businesses in the CBD of Wagga which we hope will give them a bit of a boost in their sales and also to support local people to help keep their businesses open. 

We are of all ages, we are free and all volunteers.  I do hope to get more people into the club, actors and clowns, puppeteers, ventriloquists, jugglers, etc, both male and female and kids also.  We hope to develop our skills over time, get more people who can perform tricks in the name of entertainment and fun for the community.
