For Like minded people who like to see-
Was regarding Copenhagen, but still relevant today.
Firstly, apologies for this *rant* being somewhat out of sync. I may or may not edit it later.
So, I've read the arguments, for and against, and I prefer to call myself a climate agnostic,…

I have followed your progress to Canberra on this site and in the media. To all you wonderful people I thank you for what you have done and achieved. My heart burst with pride at your extraordinary efforts. Take no notice of those that try to demean your efforts on behalf of millions of Australians, those that smear and sneer now, will regret their bile when we toss them out of government in the near future.
May your return to your homes across this wide brown land be a safe one. I…Continue
... but a poem instead:
The wide brown land is rumbling as utes and rigs roll in
From north, south, west they're coming, so let the change begin!
The many towns they pass through are wakened to their cause
they come to save Australia, they do it without pause
The farmers and the cattlemen, and many in between
have come to fight a government, the worst we've ever seen
They know they will be greeted with indifference at…

Its a good read -this opinion piece from Warren Buffett. Such commonsense not shared by many politicians. Go the workers... Warren knows our worth and when we are being taken for powerless suckers. A "Convoy lead turn around" is in the making!

Since the electoral boundary changes have brought the village of Carroll, and me with it, into the electorate you represent, I am writing to you as one of your constituents strongly opposed to the imposition of Labor’s Carbon Tax. I am well informed on the issue, and scientifically literate with my Diploma of Applied Science (Agriculture) from Wagga Ag College (CSU). I think my dependence on close observance of climatic…Continue
BEWARE “NEWS STAND”
News Stand the all new “Get Up and support media control”, the new Labor/GetUp sell to take back the control they are loosing thanks to social networks and uncontrolled on line media networks.
Over the next few weeks, my insider information sources have assured me we are in for a huge change in the media, and as most would agree, we could do with reform, but the reform we will be sold, and exactly what is on the…Continue

The GetUp story 27/5/11
While researching this article, I tried to be mindful of my personal experiences with GetUp both as one of the many people who clicked like and instantly became a member, and as one who has personally endured their deceitful practices on more than one occasion. I still receive their emails, so I am sure I remain one of their quoted 400,000 supporters, which begs the question “How many of the quoted 400,000 supporters genuinely…Continue
The online Forestry newsletter "Friday Offcuts" brings this great example of spin in action, when the area of new plantation forestry before and after the introduction of New Zealand's Emission Trading Scheme is claimed to be an improvement on historical planting levels by that countries Climate Change Minister.
Historically for 30 years before the ETS , 30,000ha per year was the average planting.
In 2010, post ETS the area planted was…Continue
FREEDOM IN AUSTRALIA
In a free society we choose our destiny, what we wear, whom we prefer to associate with, where we travel and how we get there, where we live, what we eat, even what we do for a living, for that is our choice in a free society.
We make mistakes and decisions that are not always the best ones, if we bugger up, we are held to account, I choose to smoke, drink and drive unconventional vehicles, and my wardrobe is not to every persons tastes,…Continue
Over the last 10 years, it has become obvious that the ALP government in Queensland has been most assiduous in protecting major income generating industries at the cost of others. This is clearly illustrated by the way they have pulled out all stops to protect coal mining and the Coal Seam Gas industries from the nasty farmers who insist in getting in the way and growing useless crops like wheat and cotton.
For once farmers who were pushed to the point of bankruptcy by the…Continue
