LTE – If a “Hendra” dog has to destroyed, why are “Henda” flying foxes exempt?
The fact that a dog has tested positive to the Hendra virus and by law has to be destroyed, raises some very serious questions.
The first being, why doesn’t the same law apply to flying foxes?
With a human mortality rate over 50% and the first human victim dieing after the virus re-emerged some 13 months after the disease was first…

Power Costs soar
And yet again our electricity prices go up, and yet again the Government shoves its head up its collective............. sandpit.
The Government wants prices to rise, as then people are forced to use less electricity, the same goes for tobacco, fuel and is being assisted by the new Carbon Tax. The Government believes the only way to stop us is to rob us blind so we can't afford the pleasures of life like electricity , transport, or heat.
They even set up their…

LTE – Dr Denise Powell’s Personal Attack and Public Record
Dear Editor,
On Friday 8th of July this year Dr Denise Powell was part of a group of 4 senior health executives who put out a public media release after an A Current Affair story included my comments about an overseas trained doctor who was the subject of many patient complaints.
I’ve now sent Dr Powell’s groups’ media release to legal experts to get an opinion on…

Does Windsor knot know?
Mr Windsor nominated broadband as one of the critical issues that tipped his hand to support Labor.
He said both sides had offered generous packages to support health, education and infrastructure for regional communities.
The independents' support gives Ms Gillard the narrowest of margins in the 150-member House of Representatives, bringing to 76 the number of MPs willing to support Labor.
Mr Windsor said providing stability for the country had been another key factor in…

LTE –Hendra, Flying Foxes and Magical Unicorns. (181 words)
Dear Editor,
Do you ever think of the right reply to a question 24 hrs after it was asked, and wished you could have it asked again?
This situation happened to me recently when a reporter asked:
“Even though Flying foxes may test positive for Hendra, shouldn’t they be protected from removal from their roosts or culling because they are native…

Well that's it, it's happened, they have finally done it..... they have made me speechless. My jaw is still on the ground and I am virtually in a state of shock. Carbon Fraud or Eco-fascism
But Ms Gillard said: ''From July 1 next year, the freedom to pollute our skies will cease. Two decades of denial and delay will come to an end. Polluters will have to pay.''

It Ain't Finished Yet. Are Computer Models Lying About Food Too?
Computer models at Stanford University in the US have just “told” us that man-made global warming has already sapped some of the yield potential from our food crops. They say wheat yields would have been 5.5 percent higher since 1980 without the earthly warming and corn yields would have been 3.8 percent…

My Story - It Ain't Finished Yet - This Bubble of Illusion
A colleague of Dennis Avery, one Bennie Peiser, of Britain’s Global Warming Policy Foundation, offers some of his latest man-made global warming news:
The Sunday Times noted on May 22 that the UK government has agreed to cut its greenhouse emissions 50 percent by 2027. As a result, “Tata Steel last week announced it was cutting 1,500 jobs at its Scunthorpe and Teeside plants. The…

More "payback" from Get Up.
Gerry Harvey offered his opinion on all things carbon one week and the next week Get Up gave him his Payback. Apparently its now a crime to use Native Timber in furniture according to Get Up, which they "accused" Gerry of doing. Big crime! Using Native Timber in the highest value market, appearance grade furniture, is an entirely sustainable industry. They are acting more and more like a group of bullying bigots.
