Hello Bob.
I heard you speaking to Steve Austin -ABC radio the other night (you were in Sydney).

I have never heard such a simple straight forward- cause and effect plan for Australia and the bush in particular.

Could you get your office to summarise it and post to all media including on Agmates. Well done in the recent grubby goings on- you can hold your head up high.

I have just returned from two days at the NFF Congress- personally detest everything they stand or don't stand for and paid a lot of money for the privelege of seeing all the swanning and back slapping that goes on.

The highlight was working with Peter Spencer and being the go-between. There is a few good people about with integrity but they are few and far between!

Heartfelt thanks and praise to you, Bob, for the courage and integrity you displayed in standing for honesty and decency in government rather than self-aggrandisement or personal gain. Your decision was very honorable and will have won you the respect and admiration of decent Australians for generations to come. You are one of those rare politicians who has a genuine concern for the welfare of the nation, and especially the rural community - from whom the rest of society benefits of course!

It is very encouraging to know that there is someone with genuine integrity in Parliament on whom we can depend to uphold truth and justice. God bless you.

Hi Bob, Congrats on your election victory, but how much time has passed and you still have not made up your mind who is the only Government that will reurn Australia from the brink of NO return.
Afghans rioting in Darwin, our glorious Navy and Julia welcoming and escorting Afghans on boats daily into our West Coast haven. I forgot to mention a few precious boxes arrived from Afghanistan recently on our east coast. Australia with $73 Billion debt in barely three years of Labor and a Rural chap called Peter Spencer"s Labor experience I could go But why bother you just take as much time as you like to make up that MIND of your Bobs. regards Robert Nickisson an Agmate.

Dear Bob,
Congratulations on your resounding victory in the polls! I had the privilege of hearing you address a National Party dinner in Gympie many years ago, and felt hopeful at the time that you were one who could help restore worthwhile government to our State.
In my view, we’ve not had a good State Government since the time of Sir Joh. The rot set in with Mike Ahern and it was a downhill slide after that, which is why Labor gained power.
We’ve also seen the downhill socialistic slide under Kevin Rudd’s Labor, into unbelievable debt with the threat of a carbon Tax to compound the problem. Also of grave concern is indoctrination of our school children under Julia Gillard’s education programme. As well, there is the problem of the Greens who would destroy not only Australia’s sovereignty through global governance, but also threaten every aspect of our lives – our Judeo-Christian heritage and traditional family values, our industries, our farmlands, etc.
Now many of us are hoping you might be one who is able – in this interesting turn of events - to help restore good governance to our nation! Thank you sincerely for speaking out strongly against the ETS and for speaking up loud and clearly for rural Australia. We have desperately needed a strong voice to defend the ‘bush’ and it is my prayer that God will help you make the best decision in the interests of both the rural sector and Australia generally.
Best regards

Hi Bob,You bloody beauty!
I have a simple riddle for everyone to ponder?
So the state governments now say that they are not answerable to the same constitutional and common laws as the federal Government, and therefor don't have to compensate Mr Spencer and the 30 000 other farmers?
But section 109 of our constitution clearly states that the constitution and common law overrides all state laws and regulations and applies equally to them?
So are they not in fact confessing that they are no longer legitimate constitutional Governments???
Can anyone please answer this?

Hello Bob,
Congratulations on the "elevation" this election has given you. It may give you and your fellow independents the opportunity to do some real good for rural and regional Auatralia. As an ex Mackay man and a sugar and ethanol 'expert' having grown sugar cane, managed sugar mills and played a major role in conceiving and building the Rhodesian ethanol industry, and a role in producing studies in 1988 and early 1990's into ethanol from sugarcane and other renewable materials in QLD and NSW, I have followed your political career with much interest. I admire your enthusiasm. I want to say that both of the ethanol studies were well received by the then conservative state govts but when unfortunately both Qld and NSW reverted to the socialist parties (why does the press call them progressive?) the reports on the Qld Ethanol Study and the Dept of Energy's NSW Ethanol Study got shelved and lost never to reappear.
Dont please try to form a government with the socialists. They dont know how to manage the bureaucrats, cant manage money, have held back northern development for years, started the drop in tariffs (dropped the sugar embargo in the 1980's, cut tariffs soon after as a condition for loans to the sugar industry in 1985/86 which never eventuated and gave dairy deregulation the first push in the 1990's. They probably also kicked off the first Free Trade agreements. God only knows why anyone believes there will ever be free trade with China or USA. There is always a cost (usually totally disproportionate to any gains).
What we want is better representation ( more rural electorates and parlimentarians, fewer urban electorates, a fairer division of proceeds for farm produce on the basis of proportionate division of inputs into the final product and a communications system (roadrail electronic) at least comparable to that enjoyed by our urban brothers and sisters. I am sure you will do yur best to ensure we are not again let don. Go for it.
