To protect your privacy, the team at Just Grounds strongly advise that you do the following:

1.  Adjust the settings for your "My Page" (profile page)

To do this, go to the box near the top Right corner which will have your name in the heading.  You will see a link called "Settings."

Click on Settings which is your window to manage and change all sorts of things.

You will then see a list in the top left which includes "Privacy".

Click on Privacy to change how visible your profile page will be.  We strongly advise that it is changed to "Just My Friends."

On this page, you can also change the visibility of any blogs, videos, photos or events that you post.  You can moderate any comments that other members write on your profile page, or on videos etc.

There are lots of options.

You can also have some fun playing around with the appearance of your profile page or uploading a personal photo!  More on this elsewhere if requested.

2.  Never (ever ever) post your personal email, phone number or address in a comment on a discussion or blog - unless you are prepared for the entire world to know your details.

Much of this website is open to the general public.

If you wish to exchange personal details with another member, we would strongly advise that you take the time to get to know them, both via their public comments and via Private Messages within the Just Grounds website.

To send a Private Message (PM), you will first need to send a "Friend Request" and wait for this to be accepted.

Exchange of personal details should then only occur via PM.
