They can only ever take as much independence from as you let them.

You only substantiate their claim of "Representation" (The current interpretation of it makes me shiver) over you by the use of a legal precept, if you do not openly object to something then you are agreeing by passive consent.

The "Law" though is another issue, it is the systems rules but it cannot even abide by them themselves.
To lessen the systems grip of control you can get better at it of its own game.
Or ignore the system and live remotely and hope "civilisation" in the form of mass housing projects doesn't comes your way while your still alive...

Of what importance is it to us? It might be interesting - but that's it. Full stop.

People of any nationality are still people.

Something is not less dangerous because it has no immediate consequences for us here in Australia.
It will have an effect on us, on many different levels given time!

I actually feel less threatened by the state running things than business.
At least through the state there is some modicum of for the people.

Well said Russell. I do believe that the globalist agenda is just that, global, and eventually rights being taken away from people in other "democratic" nations will eventually be taken away from us. This is just another step toward total government control of everything.

As if the poor PAYE tax payer doesn't get it in the neck now. The PAYE taxpayer cannot doge taxation. There are very few employers that get it wrong here anyway. There is nothing too much wrong in Britian either.

Can anyone imagine the right royal stuff up the NSW government might make of something like this.

Jeezus Governments want to get their grubby hands on our hard earned before we even get it? I wonder what fruit loop came up with that idea in the bureaucracy in Britain. Must have been sitting in a big office thinking.... hemmm, now what can I think up to get noticed, because I haven't anything else to do......

(Giggle, giggle and hysterical laugh) I think the man mentioned trust, the state government.... trust? You can't mention trust in a statement with government it's an anathema....(more hysterical giggle and laughter).

Not here mate, no way and probably not there either, unless the Poms have suddenly become brain dead. There must still be some somewhat well educated Poms left there.

Listen up kids when that sort of crap is even mentioned here make sure you all get out there and protest. Better still go on strike.

What about the self - employed?

I agree Roger that the Greens are a very dangerous breed. I suspect they have little respect for human life and would see more value in saving a tree than an elderly person.

Anyone dependant on money to exist is a slave of sorts...

And how they hell did realestate boom so much!
Then you have to subsidise the banking system that ran the GFC into our forced "super" savings!
And then they make a killing in profits to boot.
Blimey...
That tax on bank transactions sounds better and better.
Maybe on Executve salaries and bonuses too.
And pay politicians the dole and put them in public housing.
What there is no public housing left... we've spent it all.
So now China's paying big biscuits for coal!
All we have to do is poison prime farming land and communities.
No worries, theres nothing no-one can do about it.
