Hi Geoff, I suspect Krudd is a member of the Fabain Society which was established in Britian in 1883 to promote and establish socialism on a world wide basis (without violence) by moving the goal posts gradually to the left rather than the communist method of achieving socialism by violent revolution, murder and property confiscation. The only difference between the two models of socialism in the pure sense is that in the Fabian variety you get to vote but all the candidates are socialist where as in Peoples Republic (Communist) you also get to vote for only one candidate and if you don't vote you are likely to be shot if you are lucky or sent to a labour camp for re-education where many of the students die of cold, disease, starvation and overwork. Hi Geoff, If Krudd and other western leaders puts their monika to this treaty it will advance socialism very quickly as it redistributes wealth from rich weastern countries to poor 3rd world (mostly not democratic) countries above what western countries contribute in foreign aid now. The amount any given country is required to contribute is decided by some UN beauracratic body which will also decide what industries any given country is allowed to have. This UN body will also decide how much of any given comodity a country can produce and what price it can be sold for. Krudd will only be their local commisar for Australia. Looks like a planned economy and very Soviet Union to me. This is what international socialism has being trying to achieve for the past 100 years and now using ignorance and fear of climate change to achieve it's ends. The World Gov will be communist. With all of this propaganda about carbon dioxide and E.T.S . schemes and the whole global warming thing ,does anyone really know?

lets just concentrate on the issue of our constitution and the legal facts,
Does this government have the right and the authority to even go to Copenhagen and represent us.? ,Let alone sign any draconian agreeement that will only destroy our way of life. Does our constitution allow it.?
this battle could be over before it starts if we could get some knowledgable lawyers to do some investigation.

That would throw a spanner in the works.!

There is data and depending on what you do with it, the data can say lots of things.

For example, there is a warmer than usual current flowing under an Antarctic ice shelf and it is causing more thawing there at the moment. The current changed direction. Just as last year, there was a warmer than normal current flowing around Tassie. But not at the moment. If you look at any beach, you will find rips/currents come and go. Where the minor or major currents flow is not something we are going to change with an ETS, a CPRS, or any other activity you could dream up for a movie script. Nor did our human activity cause the currents to change. Refer to Google and look up KING CANUTE for the earliest recorded attempt at this futile activity. But look ON the land mass of Antarctica and you'll find a little more ice than the climate change camp was predicting. OK, a LOT more! If you are a serious researcher as your postings suggest, you'll have the links to research that information at your fingertips!

Storms. Check the Bible, Sea of Galilee, around AD 30, interesting passage on it. Apparently there was a great climate change strategy that worked there, but no-one has been able to replicate it since then. But look throughout history for evidence of storms, and find it in the myriads of shipwrecks under the oceans, from thousands of years BC, the Greek and Phoenician traders. Storms are not new either. Now is the ferocity of the storms we have experienced this decade. I remember as a kid, over 45 years ago, witnessing storms that would rival anything in recent times, and I'm not the one on this site with the longest memory either. Forget about memories and recollections though, our history books and artifacts from recent and not so recent times suggests that real storms have occurred on the planet before and are likely to again!

If you are going to quote the Phillipines Environment Minister as one of your credible sources, well, we have an environment minister here too, but that has been demonstrated to not confer the credibility necessary, not the intelligence, nor the ability to convince too many people of the facts on Global Warming or Climnate Change/AGW, as was demonstrated in the senate quite recently. More will evolve and be revealed there too, so watch this space Jim!

And just to cap it off, one of the hacked emails I believe mentions the data on storm and cyclone intensity and the relationship or lack thereof with climate change - now there is a bit of research worth doing too!

But clear reading glasses again please, none of this rosy or green tinting, the truth only appears if you have clear, unblinkered vision.

The greenhouse effect is real. Increasing the proportion of CO2 in the atmosphere of a greenhouse rapidly increases plant growth. However, no such evidence exists for the atmosphere, the whole sorry science was fabricated. If it were not so and the CO2 levels in the atmosphere were of such dimension, then we would find it difficult to breath and my tomatoes would be the size of footballs.

So now we can discard the science and examine the political motives that continue to find whatever reasons to maintain the lie to justify the theft.

One should be careful quoting Philippine Government sources as credible. It would be impossible to verify. We do not yet have that problem , thanks to an open society and for the present, almost a free press. Our Government suffers from itself. Good men and women are elected but are then expected to become party hacks to support this agenda for wholesale theft using tampered evidence called science. The issue has moved on from the nonsensical to the reality that there are good people elected who are then elevated into positions of power as a front and who clearly have neither life experience or the talent to exercise it.

I notice that the aircraft for the Mawson expedition has been uncovered by the melting ice . Well, this is interesting news but the most interesting is that it is on public record, last seen in 1975 and back in 1931. It does not take much to figure out why it is so.

The BOM Report with the graphics is a most credible record. Indeed, far more credible in recording the actual field data than computer fiddleing which has rightly suffered its own fate. How can anyone of us deny the facts? so just what is it you would like us to say? I will do my best to imagine what you want me to say and set it here. Let me know if it is not what you wanted.

I am 80 and lived many of my years in the Riverland and my grandfather who built paddle steamers at Echuca related stories of the huge Murray Cod flopping around in the pools left in the Murray at Waikerie in 1914. Hard to imagine that the river was so dry for almost 3 years that folks could walk across and children played in the pools. A horse and cart collecting firewood from what is now Hogwash at Ramco Lagoon. A drought so tough that brought individuals together as never before.

There is no denying the BOM Report for it is a detailed collection of historical facts prepared by trustworthy people and to its immense credit it gives no assumptions for the reasons for the warming or predictions of cause and effect, just the facts. Nor does it predicate the rising of the sea levels to affect Pacific Island nations or the Barrier Reef or the month of a freeze up of the Arctic again Nor does it suggest we have a guilty conscience and should give billions to the poorer nations. Nor does it assume the dearth of the polar bears because the North had warmed up or the huge lump of ice from the Ross Ice Shelf increasing sea levels or the greater evaporation of the Indian Ocean from the increased warming dumped on the continent in 1916 and 1917 (or last month) that started the flow again in the river and to Lake Eyre. A flow so reliable that the fruit industry was born and the locks were built to enable navigation for trade and Goolwa became a bustling river port.

The BOM Report gives us the historical facts and yes the graphs prove that there is a warming, I, for one, will go along with proof of any reason for the increase from a trustworthy independent source . It is but a fleeting thought that , with continuous freezing conditions and deposition of so much snow over much of the Arctic a change is possible to cool the Earth down again.

There is a saying among the Risk Surveyors, " If the theory gets shot down by the facts at any time, then get a new theory" So I await the tortuous reasoning of theorists.
