I understand what you are saying and there was almost a year when I was determined to have the Conference at the same time as Beef Expo. The logistics of trying to organise it at the same time became impossible and reluctantly I made the decision to have it at a different time.
We rely on volunteers and most are involved in their own businesses over Beef Week and we have our own display at site 20.
We are very excited that Tim Wilson of the Institute of Public Affairs and author of the "Naked Extortion" document that is the subject of the Just Grounds discussion International Green Groups want to control Everything you Buy (http://justgroundsonline.com/forum/topics/international-green-group...ofte) and referred to often in WWF to Tell Australian Cattlemen how to be Sustainable has agreed to be our keynote speaker.
There will of course be discussion abot Minister Andrew Cripps' review of enforcement of the Vegetation Management Act.
All Just Grounders will be welcome to register and forms will soon be available on our web site.
I will let you know when.

Dale....Why is the PRA conference on a month after BEEF EX in Rockhampton. There will be thousands of producers there for the week. The cost of motels, travel and time away from home is beyond most people. Gathering a lot of producers and landowners in the one spot is a near impossiblity and Beef Ex will have them there in big numbers.

Comment by Michaelng Clayton on January 8, 2012 at 4:32pm Hello Denise.
Unfortunately this type of Government Propaganda is a way to bribe people into thinking that Global Warming is real. The United Nations is behind it. They pay off some people so everyone thinks their agenda is real. Carbon Dioxide is not a dangerous gas. We need a new Government. I get emails every day wanting me to make money selling Carbon Credits. Hope no-one purchases them as after the next election they will be worthless bits of paper.

This builds into a huge article with lots of areas available for comment. Would you like to put it up as a discussion topic.
It is a pity they do not have $99m to give us for something we really need.
This is the problem, Qld is run by the departments and not by the labor Gov,to change this situation there has to be a change to a LNP with a clear majiorty,to get this state back on track so to speak and turn these b/crats in service to the public

Comment by Michael Petterson on January 6, 2012 at 10:14pm Ok thanks for that Dale. I just would be interested reading the said cases and learning the tactics PRA uses in fighting these cases.
