Australians BEWARE..

At present there are Only 2 Levels of Government in The Australian Constitution.

You only need to obey Federal Government and State Government laws if the are Constitutional.  If you know how to use The Australian Constitution you can beet most all charges by Local Government and Councils. But this  WILL NOT APPLY if  the Australian Constitution is changed.

Please see the Constitution of the State of Victoria

Section 74A

Section 74B

Our system of Local Government, while not perfect, and always well run, is eminently legal under our Constitution.

Ian Knight stood for Mayor in 2000, however he was beaten by Di Thorley. He had served as a councillor with Ross Miller. Ross is remembered for restoring the Empire Theatre to its 1933 art deco styling with state-of-the-art technical equipment. Many performers speak of their respect for the theatre. What makes this noteworthy is that Mayor Miller faced stiff opposition for making this project a reality and suffered an electoral backlash.

I have sought legal advice via CLRG on the issue of the councils signing on to the to the U.N. Environmental Laws and the answer I got is as follows. Not sure if it helps.I've posted the Answer they gave me first, followed by the question I asked them.

Michael
Yes by writing to your council rep and also the local State member expressing your WILL that you do not approve of their allegiance to a foreign power. Section 44(i) of the Commonwealth Constitution is self explanatory and all laws are subject to the Comm Constitution through section 15A Acts Interpretation Act 1901.
Inform all around you as well through flyers in your neighbourhood.

Darryl

My local council has signed on to the to the U.N. Environmental Laws
Through The I.C.L.E.I. Local Government For Sustainability, which
indirectly supports Agenda 21 International Council of Local
Environmental Initiatives

Would there be anything I could do about informing them of just what
they have signed up to,without a expensive court case?

Michael P

Thanks for posting your reply here, Yes we must all let our local council members know that by agreeing to sign any The I.C.L.E.I. Local Government For Sustainability Agreement they are acting in contravention of the Australian Constitution.

Ralph P Thanks for your post and information I will look over it. We must let everyone know that the U.N. is attacking our freedoms on many levels.

I posted information on AGENDA 21 HERE In an attempt to let my online friends what is really happening.

Hello Colin

At present we have a good system, but this would change if Local Government were give powers to make their own laws. At present they only have the power to regulate us, but we the people; only have to abide by laws or regulations if they do not impinge on our constitutional rights. You can beat many traffic related charges as the Constitution give us the right to travel free. many people have not payed toll road fees or fines because of this. But your rights are only protected if you CLAIM them. This means you must know what your rights under the Australian Constitution are.

I suggest everyone buy a copy of the Australian Constitution at your local Government book or online. I'll post a link here a bit later.

I do intend to write to my council about this matter, with copies to my local MP my Electorate's MP and possibly Barry O'farrell with a list of just how many councils are taking part in this.

However I need help,as I lack the terms to explain,in layman's terms just what they are signing up to re Agenda 21 and the I.C.L.E.I. Local Government For Sustainability. Would it be possible to someone to help me out in doing this?

Hello Michael

There are four great audios at Fairdinkum Radio.

If you can get all your friends to listen to them, they will join you in taking action.

Podcasts are Australian History, Common Law, The Australian Constitution, Trespass and Property Rights

I don't know that I want to beet (sic) the 3rd tier of government in this country, well I cannot speak for all, but in WA, local councils, certainly in the country, are non-political and do a great job.

Maybe I am just thick, but I don't get this thread.

No Case Mitchell will explain this thread,at the moment state governments deal out the funds to councils for proposed grants, the gillard government would like to bypass the states and fund councils first hand BECAUSE councils are full of greenies/labour
