Please feel free to ask me any questions via this comment wall on the PRA group page or by personal message about the content of this group page and any suggestions that you may have. I will endeavour to answer you with what limited time and knowledge at my disposal. This page is maintained on a volunteer basis and done so in good faith.

The disregard of common curiosity of first approaching me before attacking posts are published that lack good will or good manners will hardly result in the motivation to respond.

High court weighs high-profile case over wetlands, EPA fines

If this couple win, and it's very likely. Then the lid will be put on The EPA in the USA.

Michaelng, I just wish they wouldn't waste so much tax payers money with this rubbish. Gillard said we wouldn't be out of pocket because we would be compensated. That is as big a lie as was 'There will be no carbon tax under the government I lead'.

Maybe she didn't lie, as Bob Brown might actually be the leader. TIC.

Hello Denise.

Unfortunately this type of Government Propaganda is a way to bribe people into thinking that Global Warming is real. The United Nations is behind it. They pay off some people so everyone thinks their agenda is real. Carbon Dioxide is not a dangerous gas. We need a new Government. I get emails every day wanting me to make money selling Carbon Credits. Hope no-one purchases them as after the next election they will be worthless bits of paper.

Joanne, I am not a property owner and I lack a lot of knowledge in the area, only putting this up as I found it intriguing. I would be very happy for anyone to put it up as yes, there is lot in it.

Go for it.

Denise

This builds into a huge article with lots of areas available for comment. Would you like to put it up as a discussion topic.

It is a pity they do not have $99m to give us for something we really need.

Not sure where to put this but I guess in PRA is a start. Saw this ad in todays Telegraph. I had not heard of this before.

Action on the Ground

Media release

Action on the Ground is a component of Carbon Farming Futuresand will invest up to $99 million of grant funding over six years to assist individuals and groups of landholders and research, industry and farming organisations across Australia to trial and demonstrate on-farm ways of reducing agricultural greenhouse gas emissions and/or increasing and maintaining carbon stored in soil.

Action on the Ground on-farm projects will create new opportunities for landholders and farmers to participate in the Carbon Farming Initiative (CFI) by trialling and demonstrating outcomes from research programs including, but not limited to, the Climate Change Research Program and the Filling the Research Gap program. Projects under Action on the Ground will ensure that research results can be practically applied on the ground in real farming situations.

Action on the Ground is designed to enable on-farm trial and demonstration of practices and abatement technologies to reduce agricultural greenhouse gas emissions and/or increase carbon stored in soil. This will be achieved by supporting landholders, research, industry, non-government, government and farmer ‘care’ ‘grower’ groups/organisations come together to trial and demonstrate management practices and technologies on-farm that can reduce agricultural greenhouse gas emissions and/or increase carbon stored in soil.

This is the problem, Qld is run by the departments and not by the labor Gov,to change this situation there has to be a change to a LNP  with a clear majiorty,to get this state back on track so to speak and turn these b/crats in service to the public
