Stewart Franks

Stewart Franks says there is no evidence that carbon dioxide drives global warming and he blames the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change for scaring people about a future climate catastrophe.
"I must say the IPCC is far too sullied by the leaks and some of the shenanigans that the emails show have be going on.
"It is now too sullied to be credible."

Permalink Reply by Rae Billett on December 7, 2011 at 1:48pm I wonder where the next Green Party faithful conference will be after Durban? How can anyone with any common sense get a hearing when they won't allow it, even in the face of all the contradictions about the modelling of climate change (AGW).This charade will of course continue.
What has to happen in this country, as it did in Canada, is the resounding defeat of the Labor Party and the election of a Liberal Coalition that is really serious about changing this incredible impost on the people of this country. No if or buts....

It will be in Qatar, and they'll all be using the heat and humidity there as a good excuse to continue the climate change/global warming/climate disruption Bull excreta.
Even Durban has had the "Gore Effect", as it has been unseasonably cold. Pity it wasn't at Copenhagen again, it's cold enough to freeze their butts off.
Permalink Reply by Rae Billett on December 8, 2011 at 4:05pm Don't they just love these junkets. Qatar, of course, why not....anyway they are all in air conditioned luxury. How would they know or care what the temperature was outside.

Permalink Reply by Jeff Hutcho on December 10, 2011 at 4:03pm Has anyone read the latest Climate Commission Report ?
http://climatecommission.gov.au/wp-content/uploads/111129_FINAL-FOR...
The best part about it is the Disclaimer on page 2
The rest is more Flannery type alarmism, even though he didn't author the report.
All the usual "stuff", except it is "happening more" and is "happening faster than we thought."
You might as well read it, you paid for it.
Then get angry.

You write another agenda, to assure the continuation of the feeding trough.
After all they must try and resuscitate the dying infant Kyoto, and have another (warm) junket in Qatar COP-18 next November, and all the little junkets in between, while trying to coax some life into the new Kyoto 2.

Go to the far corner of the room and stand there for 10 minutes, and repeat a 100 times "I must not be insolent".

More like the release trigger bomb describe on WUWT.
If the informant/s got caught, the code which is the key to the 220,000 emails would automatically be released, as the informants would not be updating the security on a regular basis.
The person that wrote that scenario, feels that the informants may even be known, and that some of the encrypted emails could incriminate persons at high levels.
Think Julian Assange, but at a much higher level. Assange has hinted that if he is incarcerated or killed, person or persons from his organisation will release incriminating documents.
With the latest revelation about the UN and the Durban UNFCCC conference trying to manoeuvre the developed world into paying the UN $1.6 trillion dollars a year - for "climate mitigation" in poorer countries, anything is a possibility. That sort of money buys people and countries.

Permalink Reply by Rae Billett on December 12, 2011 at 4:35pm Now it is 'climate mitigation'. I heard Julia Gillard call it 'weather events" today, I daresay it will be 'climate mitigation' soon.
A LOT OF NAME CHANGING FOR SOMETHING WE ARE ALL SUPPOSED TO WHOLEHEARTEDLY ACCEPT AND BELIEVE IN AND, IN DOING SO, SAVE THE WORLD FROM CATASTROPE BY PAYING A TAX..
Never in the history of the world has there been a greater scare campaign to extort funds from the ordinary people of the Western society. It is quite unbelievable...money is everything, people are just grist to the mill. They don't care about us in this country, they just want the money.
It is a tax for goodness sake, it will not change anything......it won't change emissions if indeed we have much here and it won't change emissions anywhere else either, it certainly won't change the weather but it will make every one's life a whole lot harder..
People say, well it's a whole lot harder in Africa...of course it is!! Those people are still fighting native wars aided and abetted by western arms dealers and Western governments for money and power.
The UN might like to get those responsible to stop funding undemocratic juntas in Africa, get them to put up their share to 'climate mitigation'.. Then people there might then have a chance to educate and live.
I have just had an idea - GET RID OF THE UN!! That sake pit of back room deals. Get the US to stop manipulating other countries to their benefit!!
It's a start......

Permalink Reply by Rae Billett on December 16, 2011 at 3:59pm Listening to the commentators, I don't believe there will be a binding agreement at the next stop on the gravy train unless they can get all the countries, those who will be required to pay most of the money, to sign the agreement and they won’t, not in 1 year, 3 years or 5 and nothing will eventuate in 2020. Hopefully by then this will be history.
When the Greens whinge about it being a non agreement in Durban, then you know this thing is dying in the water. Milne has had a cry about action having to occur now, not in 2020. Tough for Christine and the Greens – they are economical vandals.
The $25/tonne CO2 has to be scrapped. Not even California, as they always like to espouse for having a wonderful carbon abatement scheme pays that, theirs is $10. India’s is $1..Europe varies but no country is as high as $25. However it remains be seen what effect the coming financial melt down in Europe will have and there will be another.
I believe CO2 trading will die, the bottom is falling out.. Companies are not going to trade in carbon dioxide credits if the market is not worth anything to them regardless of what the likes of Marius Kloppers and Ross Garnaut say.
And by 2020 the world will certainly know if global warming has occurred on any threatening scale because it was certainly going to be too late by 2015...it was supposedly too late last year, according to some. We were all going to be well and truly stuffed and roasted by then. The only thing that is going to be dead in the water by 2020 will be the CO2 emissions trading schemes.
