Hi Cate

Please find the link to the proposed work diary that is now open for public consultation. 

  People have until 20 May to comment back to the NTC

It is important to note the working group didn’t have the ability to change the regulations.

This new book will be slightly different to fill out but the regulations and the instructions in the front of the book should be the same.

Cate could you please post this on the Just Grounds NRFA page for me please.

hi all, i'm thinkin about makin the move north.

i'll be taking my truck up to darwin mid to late May.

its only single rated and i'll be lookin for local work.

anyone know of something happening up there.

and i'll be closer to alice springs in august.

NRFA AGM to be held in Alice Springs on the last weekend in August...but there is more, much, much more to this than an AGM.

For those whom have enquired about making their own Convoy's to Alice - all I can add is hell yeah! Why not? Some are talking about taking the leave from work and making the road trip out there - the anniversary of the Convoy of No Confidence is in the month - 2 years ago..so those of you whom wish to attend, and travel to Alice Springs, NT - leave your comments here and enquiries, and we will get back to you. There are other plans being worked on as well, so as details become available, the organizer of that event will be added here as well...tip...its going to be great and one heck of a "re-union"..:)

Good evening members of NRFA Group - and how are you this fine warm day...well, of course there is something in the "air" for me to be posting here.

If you have not noticed there is increasing activity on the site over the past 24 hours - please take time to peruse the site when you can - especially a blog by Linden Baker, and also Max Szculc who is about to be released from goal after serving a sentance of more than 12months for putting in a fire break on his rural property..

Do any of you have knowledge of the trucks in WA that were burnt out in the fires over there - I / we need your help on bushfire and bankruptcy "stories".

Hope all members of the NRFA Group had a wonderful and safe Christmas with family and mates...now, we need to focus on the New Years Eve ..must not let that one go unnoticed@!

Thanks Darryl for the well wishes, I am sure that all members here appreciate the effort you make on behalf of the board of NRFA to keep people up to date on what is happening in the organization.

And Darbs, there were a number of people in our house who raised a glass to Noel's memory this year as well - hope you had a good one too mate :)

Merry Christmas and Happy, Safe and Prosperous 2013.

This year has seen the NRFA move forward in many areas giving our Members a voice. The Board Members of the NRFA are now attending many meetings and workshops at all levels of Government to better our Industry.

I am very Proud to be able to lead such a professional team of Board members with them giving their all to better our industry.

I hope yau can take some time to be with family over the festive season.  For those who are working to provide everyone with their transport needs take it easy out on the roads and keep safe.

Crikey mate, its all good - lol, you didnt sound short, well i didnt think so anyway :)

Yep, for those who havent met you in person - well, Darb's certainly is not a "short" person - (still getting the kink out of my neck lol tic) and a sense of humour to match his height - and heart :)
