For Like minded people who like to see-
Thank you to everyone who has returned their verification letter to the ECQ so that The Queensland Party can fight the next election.
Our political rivals would like us to go away, but we are growing stronger every day!
As Secretary of The Queensland Party, I have been in tough battles before, and did not win by quitting. I fought gross misconduct over a period of two years – and helped turn things around despite public attacks from vested interests. I have helped take on city hall over savage rates increases for unit owners – and we won substantial rates relief for thousands of unit owners.
I am asking for your help now, to stop Katter from kneecapping us before the real contest begins!
Please find a friend to help The Queensland Party stay and fight.
We need 45 more verification letters for the ECQ by Monday and with your help, we will do it.
Here is what you can do to help us stay registered:
Find just one friend, print this two page application form and ask them to fill it out.
Please return the form to me using the details at the bottom of the second page.
Deadline is Monday 28 November.
Membership is free, there is no obligation whatsoever and you can help make history by helping keep The Queensland Party in the fight when we need you most.
The Queensland Party now has almost 700 members from all over this great state and from every walk of life. Many of our 700 members have sent their verification letters back to the ECQ, and we need everyone who gets this email to find one friend for The Queensland Party.
The Queensland Party has regrouped. Our political rivals would like nothing better than for us to just go away quietly so that they can have a clear run.
Queenslanders are known for their commitment to sport – let’s make sure of a good contest, by keeping The Queensland Party registered.
Thank you.

Am wondering what everybody thinks of Bligh's ...Mines to Minds proposal,/... gathering funds from terrorising QLD farmland to get gas for China and use the funds to sanitisy it by saying it is for the children and their future.
Permalink Reply by Ruth Bonnett on November 23, 2011 at 11:39am Hello Heather, The Queensland Party is on record for calling for a moratorium on CSG until the land access, ground water, contamination, environmental and GAB issues are sorted. Right now, the Queensland government is going full steam ahead, with no steering or brakes.
Newman's campaign advisor, Ben Meyers used to work for Queensland Gas Company.
We need some common sense business people to stand for election so that we can fix Queensland and start to repair the damage done by Bligh and her government. Full stop.
Permalink Reply by Michael Petterson on November 23, 2011 at 11:46am I wish we had a party like yours in NSW,CSG and general mining issues are getting out of hand, with every bit of prime farming land under a exploration license,or so I've been told. Apparently waringambah dam even has a CSG lease on it.
Honest Government, Fair Rights to property and compensation, Australia and our people strong and proud, reinstatement of values and respect
