Now that makes good horse sense

Independent Candidate Ruth Bonnett believes that Brisbane Central voters have shown a record of respect for social justice and strong communities.

“Our votes in the city travel well beyond the electorate and into the broader community, and you simply can’t get much broader than the State of Queensland.  Brisbane Central votes concerning flood mitigation or future water supplies could very well impact regional electorates in the Brisbane River catchment.”

“Hand written diaries from the mid 1800’s expose the historical contributions by public figures who helped shape our great state.  These historic artefacts show land management, environmental stewardship, animal husbandry and outreach to the indigenous people on the land.”

"A smart state may want to consider a policy which could build new value into future residential or commercial towers, boost regional tourism, promote practical environmental awareness, find an alternate income stream for managers, bridge relationships between the city and the bush and bring the history of this great state to life."
