sorry I forgot to credit..WUWT :-) I had to follow the link to the site and posted from there, but as ever Anthony and crew are to be thanked.
I found it close to the truth, Maybe Hansens problem IS sniffing too much Tippex?
Glad you liked it - I knocked this up in an hour a few evenings ago. I had already added a comment linking to it on WUWT when I spotted a main item on the site featuring it! Doh! I thought you guys might appreciate an Aussie reference, so I included the bit about the "Darwin Regional Office for Non-Governmental Organisations".
Response has been staggering - I never imagined my little effort would get noticed in this way. I was just venting some spleen in the best way I know, and at least it made ME laugh as I was writing it. . I joined AGMates recently because I saw what I considered to be some level-headed and incisive discussions here (was I wrong?) but haven't got stuck in yet.
NOAA - National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration - James Hansen works there. I though you Aussie sceptics might like DRONGO - it's why I included the bit about Ian Lowe. I know you're all having a terrible time of it over there, with GW causing bush fires, drought, rainstorms, shrinking beaches (will the Bondi Beach lifeguards soon be out of a job?), and the great Barrier Reef down to just a few miles. Over here in the "Old Country" we've had higher temperatures, lower temperatures, drought, rainstorms, flooding, no snow, snowstorms. Will it ever end?
Clever - thanks Tony. All I can think of with respect to the Great Barrier Reef, if the seas are warming, that it will actually move further south. There are coral reefs already off Lord Howe Island, which is pretty far south. Just imagine, coral all the way...
I wouldn't hold my breath while waiting for that to happen. Warming seas causing the coral to move south is just more of the propaganda. Two studies have shown that globe wide the seas are cooling. It is just more propaganda to make us accept the CPRS.
