Hi Michael, If you put smart meters into the search box on JGC you will have plenty of informative posts to read through IMO. I am more concerened about the financial cost & control being imposed if T.O.U becomes the norm. We pay far to much for our energy now to have any additional cost imposed.

You can shield yourself from any health concerns which are minor IMO.

Hi Michael

I Live in Victoria, where we are being told by the Baillieu Government that smart meters are compulsory and yet they cannot show us where in the legislation it says that, only what is says for the power companies; "that they must use their best endeavor to install them"

  Thanks for the replies, i`m concerned about the health aspect of these things , my young brother tells me mobile phones probably put out more radiation effects , and maybe he`s right,  but the way i look at it,  there was nothing the matter with the old meter,  it was accurate, i don`t need more radio waves in the neighborhood ,  i seems they are mostly fitting these things for more control over us,  they can make more profit by sacking the meter readers, they will have more information about the citizens, information = power= money.

 don`t want one don`t need one.

Hi Michael

Make sure you write to your power company telling them just that, you HAVE to put them on notice. On the stop smart meter web site there is a letter you can use, plus notices to put on your meter box. Good luck.

Michael I cant hear what they are saying

The 1st one from america was ok but the other six - very very faint

G`day Don, i`m not having any trouble hearing them , have a look at your little speaker icon at bottom of the screen,  when you run the mouse over it ,  it will tell you what your sound is set on, if it`s too low click on it and adjust it,see how you go.
