SHAME ON! Stanmore Public School: Sydney school play preaches Climate Catastrophism to our young.

When Bill Koutalianos enrolled his young daughter into Stanmore Public School, he was assured that the school had no intention of showing Al Gore’s film, Inconvenient Truth.

When he dropped his daughter off at school on the morning of 25 August, Mr Koutalianos was horrified to see the school had produced its own global warming/climate change alarmist school play entitled “The Beginning of the End of the Beginning”.  The play was performed that morning under the COLA (covered outdoor learning area) by unsuspecting young children and inflicted on an even younger audience.

The play had approximately fifty student performers divided into groups:  the cleaners, the scientists, the robots and the scavengers.

The cleaners and scientists were dressed in white overalls and hoods – reminiscent of the recent TV images of Greenpeace activists vandalizing a scientific facility.

The robots were dressed in black and green with cardboard cogs.  They crawled around on all four limbs like vacuums cleaners cleaning the ground, guided by the cleaners.

The scavengers, who appeared to represent ordinary citizens,  were dressed in rags.  They seemed to worship a potted plant, perhaps meant to represent some future green utopia.  At one point, they were herded together like cattle and restrained by others.   At other times, they were lying on the ground playing ‘dead’, presumably due to the sign-posted natural and other catastrophes.

Signs held up by students included NO FUTURE, THE END IS NIGH, THE END IS NEAR, THE END IS REALLY CLOSE, DOOMSDAY IN X DAYS. Other signs related to earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanoes.  Perhaps the most disturbing image was of children playing dead while students held up a sign that read SEAS RISE MILLIONS LOST.

“These are rather alarming and inappropriate messages to be conveying to young children who do not have the capacity to weigh up the conflicting science of the climate change debate”, Mr Koutalianos said.

“This was a deliberate attempt to link global warming alarmism to unrelated geological catastrophes. Presenting our children with such inaccurate information through subtle innuendo, whether through science class or theatre, is completely unacceptable in the context of an educational institution”, continued Mr Koutalianos.   He continued, “The science has been politicized and is disputed and our children should not have to carry the weight of the world on their shoulders.  Climate/carbon propaganda should be kept out of our schools, until the adults sort out the truth from the lies.”

Mr Koutalianos has written to the Principal and offered to meet her to discuss the production.  He has sent a copy of his letter to the Education Minister as well as copies to other parents.

I recently resigned from my union, United Voice (ex-LHMU) for this very issue! As a foundation member of the Climate Sceptics Party, I did not appreciate paying them $500 a year for the privilege of them calling me a 'Sceptic', 'Denier' and 'Delusional!'

Examine the links for P & C reading & Parental knowledge. What we have found are the books/information for teachers is kept private with the majority of the work face to face for in class participation with group activities on the negatives of man's impact on the planet.  Very little material is actually in a form that is seen outside the classroom.

Contains work for year 10 Public/Private schools in Aus.

This is exactly the issue I have been talking about here on an off for years....it is wrong. These children are being taught what the government sets  as curriculum and not allowing parents to have their say. They are sneaking it in obviously; the teachers being left wing Labor sycophants. Many are and Stanmore is within the Marrickville Council area; that's the Green Party Council that has been in the news regarding the Palestinian situation and other issues. They tried to boycott Jewish businesses. Terrible people.

 

If this happens to your children, make a formal complaint with the teacher, the school Head and the Education Department and if that gets nowhere, go to the Ombudsman.  

 

Parents have the right to know what their children are being taught and a say in that teaching. I have no issue with teaching about a clean environment and environmental studies within boundaries, but teaching dubious unproven theories about climate change and frightening the daylights out of YOUNG children without the ability to comprehend is reprehensible.

 

This teaching has repercussions down the line when these children become adults with no ability to see any other side of this issue. No all children develop an ability to question and some parents don't care what their children are taught. They don't go to the school and they don't take part in school activities.

 

This is why we are seeing this government walk all over the people of this country with a carbon dioxide tax, because the preconditioning has been happening for the last two decades at least and young people truly believe that carbon dioxide is a poisonous gas and is related to normal weather patterns. That is why these teachers think they have the right to do a play as described above - they learned this at school.

 

I am copying this discussion topic and sending it to my son-in-law because he needs to know what could be happening in the local school my grandchildren attend.

Hi Jeff, the TNP has a lot of common players with SBA on Rob's CFI blog. Some big names from the US as well as WRI.  H.L & the team.

SBI. My son had to watch Al's movie in class. They broke it up & did sections each period with discussion. No alterations it was the same we saw many years ago together, his teacher didn't make much comment either way but they had to discuss alot of the negatives. AYCC have recruites in class.

His views are in the minority group & he says most keep their views hidden as the flock get a bit pushy.

How old was your son? How long ago was this?

 

I ask because the Labor Government had the power in this state for over 15 years and the Education Department curriculum which is now being directed by the Federal Labor Government. 

 

These views have been taught for a long time in this state and I have no doubt that any child who tried to have another view would be subject to the pushiness.

 

I am wondering how old these children were to have such a slanted view. Of course global warming or the now called 'climate change' has been a concerted fear campaign and it has been happening in our children's classrooms for years and years.

I wonder how an astute teacher would get along if they did not believe in this climate change nonsense. It would be hard to go along with this if you were not dedicated.

 

People wonder why there is now no debate, no discussion of the real facts, no input from other scientists and no questions allowed.

 

Science is never finished or 'in' as our PM likes to say over and over. Science is not like that. Science is about questioning the status Que. All scientists of any real dedication applaud those who question their findings.  Those advising the PM are not real scientists, they are computer modelling experts who reply on the input data which comes down to who feeds the data and where do they obtain that data. VERY QUESTIONABLE.

I typed status quo....and it changed? And I would add if I was a teacher I would definitely not be in that union.
