For Like minded people who like to see-
I'm setting this discussion up JUST for posting of responses we have had from politicians over the last few days.
Supportive responses have been received from several MP's already. If we can post their responses here, other people can then write and thank them for their support!!
Peter try not to be so cynical regarding politicians some are actually pretty good, though not exactly to do with our current travails, here is just one of a number of good experiences I have had.
I sent some detailed information with references to NSW Treasurer Mike Baird regarding the early days of the Commonwealth bank, and how they effectively financed Australias commitment to WW1 and as well financed the purchase and running of some 36 freighters early last century to aid exporters of Wheat,Wool and other Agricultural produce.
All this was achieved without Foreign Borrowings and WW1 was paid back to the taxpayers within a dozen years, and even less for the 36 freight Ships.
I was making the point to the Hon Mr Baird that NSW could finance it's own infrastructure if they did some investigation into the Archived records of the Commonwealth bank, they could learn a possibly forgotten or long unused method for financing Government Infrastructure projects.
Hopefully the NSW Government Infrastructure bonds investment idea they have launched has spun out of my bringing this important historical detail to the NSW treasurer and his willingness to think outside the square of how to approach things have been done for too long along the same old tired lines and to learn from history.
I thought whilst we are fighting with an Scurrilous Federal Labor Greens alliance and some may think the Liberal party and their Nationals Partners are just typical politicians with their replies it was important to show that some do listen and if the idea has merit seemed to have also acted.
The Idea is quite old and proven and comes from an era when Australia was a Great and Fearless Nation with a can do attitude and people in important areas who truly put Australia and it's Citizens first.
Hopefully the death of such worthy People has been reported rather prematurely when it comes to politicians, and yes Mike Baird did reply personally along the lines of thanks Steve for the fresh perspective etc.
He has not been alone in finding the time to respond to email, though I have yet to recieve any reply from The other side of politics.
It is important to note in NSW the Coalition are already in office and whilst various performances in portfolios will find some individuals wanting as in any situation of a new position the response is still there despite having gained office, so Pete there is a ray of light.

Hi Gerry - despite all the good and nice responses we get - we shouldn't forget - they are all POLITICIANS - trying to keep their job. As you have seen - specially the Independents do nothing
if not for a reason.

Peter, thanks for that I needed another doorway through the brick wall.
They are all singing from the same sheet. Joe Ludwig's Parliment speech was close to the same crap.
Time will tell how this works out but don't leave more than the survival essentials invested in Oz. You can always bring them back in 5 years if things arn't that bad.
This is the latest response I got from the Office of Senator Claire Moore:
Text is so much, I attach it in a word document.
