For Like minded people who like to see-
The 2013 Federal Election is coming and the first salvos have erupted upon the Nation.
Today, the PM announced "sustancial structural savings" = SSS -- in the Federal Budget to pay for key Labour priorities such as NDIS plus the Gonski Educational reforms.
These priorities will be funded by -; "Labors Values" -- Is that a New Bank. ??
PM further stated -; "Fairness can ONLY be Funded thru Economic Strength." which begs the question -; Is breaching the Australian Debt Ceiling FAIR ??
As quoted by Dennis Shanahan = "Whether Julia Gillard can press "reset" on Labors years of government will depend on how far she can push away a dismal record, a distrust of her leadership and a deminishing authority"
That makes three strikes -- will the inevitable response be correct ??

Is that the "out" day after 3 strikes that you were alluding to Alyn?
Permalink Reply by Ian Davies on January 30, 2013 at 12:30pm She is betting all on this, half the Senate as well?
It's all or nothing, this gives that new social media network a long lead time to bed in a decisive win by using Government money (our money) to set it all up.

I wonder what that is in Wages per Day for Politicians. ??
Will this next Election pave the way for -; "Fixed Term Parliaments" ??

Now that will be a worry.....Football/Cricket/V8 cars sure are a priority.......
I respect the Jewish community but is this the LNP PC .......The date is 14 Sep 13.....MOST important for Australia's future......forget the rest......
3.40pm: Of course, the election will come right in one of the busiest periods of the sporting calender.
The AFL semi-finals, NRL Qualifying and Elimination finals, v8 Supercars Sandown 500 and fourth Ashes Test between Australia and England are also taking place around that weekend.
3.20pm: Leader of the Opposition Tony Abbott is set to make a statement regarding the election announcement at 3.40pm.
2.40pm: Some Liberals are concerned the date will fall on Yom Kippur - the most solemn and sacred day of the Jewish year.
Opposition communications spokesman Malcolm Turnbull has tweeted he is "deeply disappointed that Julia Gillard chose to hold the election on Yom Kippur - the most solemn and sacred day of the Jewish year".
Influential Liberal MP Josh Frydenberg echoed the concern, taking to Twitter to say "this disenfranchises many Jewish Australians and is incredibly sloppy work".

The UN vote and this bizarre attack last week.

Permalink Reply by Stephen Cox on January 30, 2013 at 7:09pm Strike one to Just grounds,Yesterday I emailed the Chris Smith show currently being chaired by Luke Grant about Neva Peris linking the Quadrant Online and other exposes about Peris Enterprises.
Peris Enterprises went offline in December well before Gillard appointed her,Very Fishy.
Well Nova Peris got the full treatment in exposing the questions yet unanswered about where did the money go and why did Peris Enterprises mysteriously disapear off the web in december.
As with many 2GB shows they lead with a specific topic and Nova got ten minutes worth of Coverage she didn't want,Gillard will not be happy that more dubious practices have been exposed.

If you havent listened to the Audio File I have posted on this link then I urge you to do so,It was a speech in the American House of Representatives by the Famous Davy Crockett,All about how Politicians do not have the right to give away taxpayers money no matter how good the cause because that right of donating money time or goods is the right of the individual not the Government.
He is so right it is an amazing speech and when you hear it you will agree with him.
Permalink Reply by Alyn Roule on January 31, 2013 at 7:46am Stephen -- is there a transcript for that speech ??
Permalink Reply by Ian Davies on January 31, 2013 at 9:24am Yeah, Hah! Stephen, heard that bit with Luke. Wish he would stay on and C.S disappear. Have sent him plenty & he never looks.
Hi Alyn, you can listen to it online here. No images just audio.

Well worth a listen although there is some doubt about this actually occurring from memory. No record in the US archives.
