Gidday Shane & John,
I went up to Cantburra today & must say it was well worth the trip, although we didn't get the chance to "mingle" as Lord M had to catch a flight. I also saw the 7.30 report.......... Cheese & Rice.......the bloody ABC edit the ***** out of most of what they showed and stacked the piece with (gvt paid) alarmist claptrap.

The 7.30 Report conclusion: ‘the debate is far from over’.

Other points made on the program: Monckton’s assertion that there is some sort of push for a world government behind AGW alarmism is ‘complete absurdity’. Yes of course it is.

For scientists across the world to have put their heads together and form some sort of giant conspiracy to pull the wool over our eyes, in the interests of securing funding for a non-existent problem or making a name for themselves or whatever, is again just extraordinarily absurd. Agreed.

Well done 7.30 Report!

Now for all the ardent denialists that hold Monckton up as their guru, please consider these points….

You are being incredibly selective in what you are choosing to believe and not believe, in what you are accepting as evidence and refusing to accept, and even in what you are choosing to accept and pretend not to hear from Monckton himself.

Monckton espouses scepticism as being the highest of duties and blind faith as being the one unpardonable sin. So all ardent denialists, which apparently includes every last one of Monckton’s followers, are infringing one of his most basic points!! Australia’s Chief Scientist, Penny Sackett, strongly backed the scepticism position on the program this evening.

Monckton also says that you shouldn’t believe a word that he says, but rather, you should do your own research and draw our own conclusions. So he sends his disciples out to do balanced research, not to look for every little thing that can back the denialists argument while ignoring everything that points the other way!!

Well, if you read the draft treaty, there ARE numerous references to a world government. AND, who in their right mind would not be concerned about such references - it was not to be an electable government for starters.

And, if you read it even more, you would see that Hydro and Nuclear power were off the agenda as far as claiming "credits" for reducing co2 emissions. I read that as, if we introduced nuclear power or hyrdo power,they won't count in the scheme of things with the UN plan. No Wonder Keven and Penny aren't addressing these energy sources. BUT, have they ever come out and said why they won't consider these options?

With nuclear and hydro out of the equation, it is a dead set certainty that penalty payments will be in store with Rudd's population explosion plan by 2050 and we wont' be able to offset with nuclear or hydo so only have wind and solar to think about. What a joke!

If I have interpreted this wrong, someone please correct me.

What is the man thinking??????? (that's presuming I have read the draft treaty correctly)

Shayne, you summed it up for me. Wow, they can really use music and visuals to impress subliminally, can't they? And it was obvious that some serious cutting was done of the interview with Monckton. I hope people will at least be curious and go see him for themselves - Monckton -- Uncut and Uncensored! I'm so looking forward to Monday night in Perth!

Guys, I reckon Russell is JUST ABOUT to come over to our side. He's sounding pretty good. Everything he has said can be applied to Algore & the Warmistas.

I meant to say Algore and the lying pieces of excrement that have wasted taxpayer dollars, lied to people of the world, and caused poor people in third world countries infinitely more problems, all while living the high life, traveling the world on nice long junkets, and using the money of productive people to fight productivity. I will endeavour to not use the word warmistas any more.)

(Perhaps I could come up with a term that summarises "lying pieces of excrement that have wasted taxpayer dollars, lied to people of the world, and caused poor people in third world countries infinitely more problems, all while living the high life, traveling the world on nice long junkets, and using the money of productive people to fight productivity"?? (How DOES one play the science and not the man, when the man behind the so-called science is an algorilla? How do we talk science, when all the original temperature data has been destroyed? Uh, I mean, LOST. How do we carry on a logical, science-based discussion, when we have a truck load of evidence that the "science" has not been science at all, because of algorillas? Hmmm. I really must ask Penny to help me on this one. Without calling anyone names.)
