Subject: Fw: Antarctic Melting? Here We Go Again

The Editor, Dear Sir,
Correspondents in Washington are now telling us (AdelaideNow Ap 26) “massive ice shelves in Antarctica are shrinking because they are being eaten away from below by warm water” (and just how could they prove it?) and from that observation, future sea levels “could” rise faster than "predicted".

What's happening in Antarctica "may” have already triggered a period of unstable glacier retreat and, “if” the entire Western Antarctic Ice Sheet “were” to melt, which “would” take many decades if not centuries, scientists have estimated it “would” lift global sea levels by “about” three meters.

Well, it is time to temper the science of, “were”, “could”,”would”,”about”, “may”, and “if” that has produced the lies and fabrications to support Combet and the 1700 employees of the Climate Change Department and Ross Garnaut, the financial whizz, and his $12 billion in the first full year of the carbon tax.

Time to re establish that climate change is a natural change and to stop publishing reasons fabricated to suggest otherwise that cannot be sustained.

It is 100 years since Douglas Mawson shipped an aircraft with his expedition to Antarctica to be used as a snow tractor after the wings were damaged in a test flight at Parafield. At the end of the expedition the aircraft remains were discarded near the shore to be frozen out of sight until the ice melted in 1931 and the engine and metal airframe was exposed.

Then to be frozen out of sight again until the rusting remains of the airframe were found again as the ice melted in 1975 and then I suggest it is about the present time that it "may"  again be visible. If so,what remains should be recovered to be returned to Adelaide.

“If” possible ,it “would”, “could”, “may”, and “should”, be the very least we could do for him in his memory.
