Following the next Federal Election with Tony Abbott as Prime Minister we should be in better hands and we should, hopefully, move forward together as a Nation.

The brutal reality is that no Liberal Party leader can hope to become prime minister without the support of the junior Coalition partner. This is where Abbott has it all over Turnbull. Since becoming leader, Abbott has wisely embraced his Coalition partner and appears to have a strong relationship with the likely next Nationals leader, Barnaby Joyce.

Joyce or Warren Truss will only need to invoke the memory of Black Jack McEwen to deliver the stable leadership vital for good governance. Following the drowning of Harold Holt, then-Country Party leader McEwen made it very clear that he could not serve under Billy McMahon. Goodnight, Billy!

Labor's internal dysfunction has served not only to drive a stake through the heart of the Rudd-Gillard government, but has revealed just how good a national leader John Howard was. Howard provided the leadership gravitas, maturity and credibility Labor can only dream of.

Given the massive dept that the Labor Government has accrued during their time in Office, Tony Abbott needs to be honest with the Australian public letting them know exactly what the dept is and then itemise the strategies that he will introduce to repay the dept.

Honesty, openness, and the development of detailed strategies and policies are what I would like to see in our next Prime Minister.

Who would call him a 'wimp'? I must get our Premier to have a good chat with him ( if only I was talking to her... and she knew me).

The Labor Party are in election mode today attempting to appeal to female voters not to vote for Tony Abbott as he has a problem with women in positions of power.

Well, that's it Stephen, isn't it? Acts of Treason. Indeed.

This equates to one LNG Operation making  some Fifteen Billion Plus a Year on average alone and they can easily double that,Just how much benefit does Australia as a Country and It's Citizens receive  didly squat I have no doubt and many of these entities are Foreign Owned or Controlled,Take back what is rightfully ours and have charged those on both sides of the Contracts who have acted Illegally and unscrupulously .

Then when you think about the sheer wealth this Country does Generate and how much of it is being scammed from us the mere Gillard Fiscal disaster pales into a drop in a bucket.

We can realistically pay all our Foreign Debt when we look into the details and cancel the Illegal transactions.

Sale by Various State Governments of  State Assets,Therse are owned by the State and therefore the People they are not and never have been the property of any side of Government to sell off unless approved by at least a Seventy Five Percent Majority of the Shareholders Vote.

Therefor things such as the sale of Electricity to both the French Government in the case of Yallourn and the Interests of South Australia in toto to the Chinese Communist Government and the sale of one third of the Electricity Generation in NSW again to the Chinese,Add to these things such as the sale of the NSW Waste Authority to a Joint Singapore French Company by Kristina Keneally just weeks before losing the Election.

Fix all of the above acts of Treason and we will be rolling in funds to fix this country and when you research the History of the Commonwealth bank we have no need of foreign Debt at all,one almighty ConJob.

We have to look at how our money is wasted and where it is all going as I believe we as a nation are massively rorted by Corruption and incompetence,A good example being a cosy of some 2.5 Million Dollars being mentioned by a Local member when applauding a change in speed limit on the Princes Highway at Heathcote South od Sydney.

What did we get for 2.5 million,Four signs changed from 50KMh to 60KMh and an eighteen month sabattical from actual work for whomever carried out a bloody study to tell people what they could figure out themselves in ten minutes,Those are why this Country and especially any Government paid person needs carefull appraisal and investigating when it comes to Waste and Corruption in Australia,I believe we could probably achieve the same results or better for about Twenty percent of what we actually pay these leeches.

Caroline we all know Tony Abbott more likely has a problem with Women who abuse Positions of Power as do mosy in both Labor and especially the Greens.

The job specification for a Director and or an Operating or Executive Officer of a Public List Company should be the very minimum requirements for anyone aspiring to be a Politician. We are and have been witness to many elected to the Parliament devoid of any noble virtue to serve the Nation other than themselves or a puppet master. What noble purpose is served by using a Government or Union  credit card funded by workers to pay for prostitutes, or house repairs as an example?

It is not disingenuous to suggest that Gillard thinks the day is done while Shorten thinks his day is won. An election now will sort out those who have been elevated into a position of great trust who have clearly demonstrated they have neither life experience or the morality and talent to exercise it. It bothers me that the huge funds to support the incestuous UN should be canceled by a Judicial Act of the Parliament and replaced by a new aid program directly funding teams of volunteers on the ground.

You could be right Bob but they would not forgo their inflated salaries to enter politics do you think?

We have asked for honesty from our next leader and this, I believe, is what Tony Abbott has shown on his week end visit to Tasmania:

Tony Abbott has admitted the introduction of a price on carbon had not immediately been ''catastrophic''.

After spending months warning the carbon tax would be a ''wrecking ball'' to the economy, the federal Opposition Leader said the effects would take longer to emerge.

In a speech to the Tasmanian state council of the Liberal Party in Launceston yesterday, Mr Abbott said anyone who thought he was running a scare campaign should look at long-term modelling about the carbon tax.

''Yes, the initial impact of the carbon tax may not be absolutely catastrophic,'' he said.

''But I ask you Tasmanians to understand the logic - if there is any - in a five-and-a-half per cent increase in your power prices because of the carbon tax, even though some 85 per cent of your electricity is hydro-generated.''

It has now been nearly two months since the carbon price was introduced.

Several months before it was introduced, the Coalition had been forecasting almost immediate impacts. It would ''swing like a wrecking ball through the Australian economy'', Mr Abbott said in March.

But in early June Mr Abbott began to edge away from his initial prediction of doom.

''It's going to be a python squeeze rather than a cobra strike but it is going to hurt from day one, and as time goes by it's just going to get worse and worse,'' Mr Abbott said at the time.

Senior government minister Greg Combet accused Mr Abbott of backing away ''from 18 months of predictions that a carbon price would bring doom and gloom to the Australian economy''. He said Mr Abbott's ''deceit just goes up and up and up''.....

Abbott urges business to target Indonesia

OPPOSITION Leader Tony Abbott says Australian businesses should focus more on the economic opportunities in Indonesia instead of considering it an exotic tourist spot.

Mr Abbott is in Jakarta on the second day of a three-day trip to meet business leaders and politicians.

All Australian business leaders he met on Saturday were "very enthusiastic" about the economic prospects in the South-East Asian nation, Mr Abbott said.

"All of them were very keen to let me know Australia shouldn't be so fixated on its now long-standing economic relationship with Japan, and more recent but very, very important relationship with China, and that we've neglected the vast potential of Indonesia," he told reporters in Jakarta on Sunday....

Tony Abbott may have something here. It would, of course, depend on what business interests are available in Indonesia for Australians to form partnerships with.

Opposition seizes on tent embassy riot

TONY Abbott has seized on controversial comments from former Labor Attorney-General Robert McClelland to question the integrity of Julia Gillard’s office in the Australia day tent embassy riots.

Mr McClelland, now a Labor backbencher, said yesterday it was hard to believe that only a junior member of Ms Gillard's staff was responsible for passing on information which helped spark the violent protests earlier this year.....

It is a good idea to call the Government out on this issue while it is still fresh in people's minds.

Losing UN bid would be ‘disastrous’: Abbott

SHARE LINKS:

JOHN KERIN

Opposition Leader Tony Abbott says it would be “absolutely disastrous’’ for Australia to fail in its bid for a seat on the United Nations Security Council, given taxpayers have forked out tens of millions of dollars to fund the campaign.

“If Australia can’t come first or second in a three-horse race involving Finland and Luxembourg, there’s something wrong with us,’’ Mr Abbott said on Thursday.

“Given the millions and millions of dollars and the extraordinary dislocation of diplomatic priorities, it would be absolutely disastrous four our country if we didn’t win this ballot,’’ Mr Abbott said....

Now Tony Abbott is starting to act like a potential leader of this country.
