For Like minded people who like to see-
Following the next Federal Election with Tony Abbott as Prime Minister we should be in better hands and we should, hopefully, move forward together as a Nation.
The brutal reality is that no Liberal Party leader can hope to become prime minister without the support of the junior Coalition partner. This is where Abbott has it all over Turnbull. Since becoming leader, Abbott has wisely embraced his Coalition partner and appears to have a strong relationship with the likely next Nationals leader, Barnaby Joyce.
Joyce or Warren Truss will only need to invoke the memory of Black Jack McEwen to deliver the stable leadership vital for good governance. Following the drowning of Harold Holt, then-Country Party leader McEwen made it very clear that he could not serve under Billy McMahon. Goodnight, Billy!
Labor's internal dysfunction has served not only to drive a stake through the heart of the Rudd-Gillard government, but has revealed just how good a national leader John Howard was. Howard provided the leadership gravitas, maturity and credibility Labor can only dream of.

Endeavour to make all in public life accountable for actions or inaction
Aid only those who have aided Australia or Australians
Defend wisely our Borders and Intellectual property
Endeavour to repatriate all who have come here illegally to whence they came
Re-implementation of Howard's Pacific Solution to its full 'letter of the Law';
Sharia law in any form to be outlawed and disbanded as this is not an islamic country
Help Australians first then when worthy others but not to the detriment of Australians
Invest in Australias future for Australians not for Foreign concerns or the UN fantasy
Place our people first always regardless of background creed or color all are equal

Permalink Reply by Dr Caroline Wright on August 18, 2012 at 2:38pm Stephen in order for Australia to get out of the huge dept that the Labor Party has run up while in office we would have to pay for it somehow. An ETS is my preferred option to the present Carbon Tax. It is either that or raise taxes of every Australian to pay off this dept. I am still open minded enough to listen to your argument re this issue. Who knows? You may even convince me!

Permalink Reply by Stephen Cox on August 18, 2012 at 3:08pm Caroline think about this at present 4.5 Ships a day of LNG leave Port Headland the Net Profit per ship is Sixty Six Million Dollars and every month there are Three Ships with extremely High Quality Light Oil as a result of processing the Gas which must run through the Pipelines "Dry".
These Ships have an oil that is a result of refining the Gas to the needed transport Dry state and every Shipload of that is a bonus worth some Eighty Five Million.
This equates to one LNG Operation making some Fifteen Billion Plus a Year on average alone and they can easily double that,Just how much benefit does Australia as a Country and It's Citizens receive didly squat I have no doubt and many of these entities are Foreign Owned or Controlled,Take back what is rightfully ours and have charged those on both sides of the Contracts who have acted Illegally and unscrupulously .
Then when you think about the sheer wealth this Country does Generate and how much of it is being scammed from us the mere Gillard Fiscal disaster pales into a drop in a bucket.
We can realistically pay all our Foreign Debt when we look into the details and cancel the Illegal transactions.
Sale by Various State Governments of State Assets,Therse are owned by the State and therefore the People they are not and never have been the property of any side of Government to sell off unless approved by at least a Seventy Five Percent Majority of the Shareholders Vote.
Therefor things such as the sale of Electricity to both the French Government in the case of Yallourn and the Interests of South Australia in toto to the Chinese Communist Government and the sale of one third of the Electricity Generation in NSW again to the Chinese,Add to these things such as the sale of the NSW Waste Authority to a Joint Singapore French Company by Kristina Keneally just weeks before losing the Election.
Fix all of the above acts of Treason and we will be rolling in funds to fix this country and when you research the History of the Commonwealth bank we have no need of foreign Debt at all,one almighty ConJob.
We have to look at how our money is wasted and where it is all going as I believe we as a nation are massively rorted by Corruption and incompetence,A good example being a cosy of some 2.5 Million Dollars being mentioned by a Local member when applauding a change in speed limit on the Princes Highway at Heathcote South od Sydney.
What did we get for 2.5 million,Four signs changed from 50KMh to 60KMh and an eighteen month sabattical from actual work for whomever carried out a bloody study to tell people what they could figure out themselves in ten minutes,Those are why this Country and especially any Government paid person needs carefull appraisal and investigating when it comes to Waste and Corruption in Australia,I believe we could probably achieve the same results or better for about Twenty percent of what we actually pay these leeches.
Permalink Reply by Stephen Cox on August 18, 2012 at 4:42pm There was a typo I just picked up it should not read 4.5 ships per Day those sorts of loading times are impossible but per week that lowers the numbers by a considerable ammount.
The average payback time for a Super LNG carrier is averaged at 4 Years to pay the capital outlay of roughly 200 Million and production is rapidly outstripping the ability to build Tankers for transporting the Liquified Gas,Much more of which will come on line in Australia in 2014
Al the numbers were quoted to me directly from someone in the Industry currently and I suppose it depends on the size of the Vessel as to it's capacity,He also iterated that the costs may be much lower than you would expect due to the Chinese ownership and use of Mongolian labor force aided by the Current Federal Government,The very same Government who tried to blackball Gina Rhineheart over that exact scenario.
Totally in agreement regarding Bobs yake on things we should be value adding here in Australia.
Permalink Reply by Dr Caroline Wright on August 18, 2012 at 6:31pm Geoff I would be very interested in hearing a precis of how you would see the EMS working (I confess I do not know a great deal about it but would really like to learn more) and how it would affect the tax payers. Anything would have to be better than the Carbon Tax.

Permalink Reply by Dr Caroline Wright on August 19, 2012 at 12:12am Stephen would you do be a very big favour and, within the context of leadership of our country, could you summarise the main points from above (you may like to use bullet points for each [my reasoning being that I want this discussion to appeal to as many members as possible and I for one do not have the background knowledge you have but think that I understand what you are saying here]) so that the message re leadership come through and has appeal for all readers. That would be such a great help to me and will draw in a wider readership and hopefully contributions from a wider base.
In anticipation I am once again be in your dept.

Permalink Reply by Dr Caroline Wright on August 19, 2012 at 10:45am Tony Abbot pledges to bring back the 'golden age' of the Howard Government when he becomes Prime minister:
Tony Abbott has promised to return Australia to the "golden age" of the Howard government under his "incoming Coalition government".
In a speech to the South Australian Liberal Party yesterday, the federal Opposition Leader emphasised the connection between the Coalition under his leadership and the government of John Howard, which was voted out in 2007 after 11 years.
The tradition of the Howard government would live on, Mr Abbott declared, in no small part because of the similarities between his frontbench and Mr Howard's ministerial team.
"Sixteen members of my frontbench were ministers in the Howard government," Mr Abbott said.

Are women's perceptions of the type of leadership Australia needs the same as the males members? Or are women's ways of working different to those of males and thus their expectations of political leadership different?
Honest Government, Fair Rights to property and compensation, Australia and our people strong and proud, reinstatement of values and respect
