Hello my name is John I am a farmers son who for many years tried to avoid the resposibilities I was born into. Now I am a few years back on the farm with my own family and starting something that I hope will assist in creating the future we deserve. Sustainable Community Developement is the title we have created for this. We are hoping to find support for our ideas before making them too public. I believe we are reaching a time of change and it is up to each and every one of us to make this change for the better for all inhabitants of this planet earth.

Hi John

Sustainable Community Development sounds like a good thing to support. But I can’t tell much from a title. Can you give us your aims and objectives.

But they need to be made public so that people can decide whether they are worth supporting.

Cheers.
Hi John

For starters, I like the name - it's has a progressive, positive "feel".
Looking forward to hearing your ideas behind it.
John - we had a fellow come and tell us about Foundations, is this the sort of thing you are trying to create.
Not quite sure which reply to click on, hope this is right. Sorry for not revealing more, I have this vision in my head but it's a challenge to share it with out confusing or over wealming. Here goes a company that invests in people gives them oportunitys whilst supplying businesses with people who are motivated towards going their best for them.

Why because these people are supported unconditionaly they grow with this in their hearts and as they are supported by the community that is supported by the industrys they work in ,they have a loyalty money can't buy.

I hope this is giving a glimpse of the vision. I believe we all have the ability to invisige a better world and it is our own unique visions that will create it. So I try to avoid pushing my vision onto others. This is about oportunitys if you have land and are struggling to find a way to improove it or if you are struggling to get ahead so you can get a bit of land this idea might be for you.
Hey John,
If you want a hand to flesh out an idea and put it in a format we can all look at, that's what I do. Happy to discuss it with you and give you a simple template/framework to build on. Let me know, you havce us curious.
Cheers,
Ray Jamieson
way to go! the future is the way we were, not what we have become!
once a farm supported a lot more than two people and maybe the kids, and there was enough work that paid so that off farm was rare. locals shared the labour and supported each other in bad times.
we have lost so many skills to big town industries its killing us.
we have become reliant on outside "specialists" when once the elders taught us , and what we learn from specialists is NOT what works in real life so often.
I have land and no tractor cant get a loan for an oldie even, so yes I see the value in sharing crop for help:-)
actually looking for old single horse drawn ploughs, however they make lovely garden ornments and sell for city prices I found...
sure there are others like me too.
Thinking we set up as a franchise then we can use bulk buying power to get a bit of control over price, ethics, ect. A consolidated force operating as a business. Alll we need to be able to is share.
Hello again, I see change has been going on here. So I'll give this another shot. It's official now got an ABN. BE careful accepting any advice I might bill you. LoL Seriously with the last election results and everything else that's going on maybe it might be worth listening to a bit more of what I got to say. I am not going away. Well I will from this forum but the idea is evolving with or with out you guys so you may as well put your two cents in or maybe even a whole dollar.

The way the organisation is going here on our place is it will take over the running of the property. So it takes the responsibility and charges a fee in this case. In others could be an exchange for some kind of 'land rights'. Anyway I am sure there are a lot of us out there that would love to do more with a little piece of paradise but lack something, normally it is labour.

We are in the process of submitting our not for profit application so we will be needing a board soon. When I get my whats it together we will be accepting membership. Hope this is all good news to you?
