A few weeks ago Greenpeace turned its “greenmail” forces on national franchise chain Bakers Delight, telling customers they soon would be eating bread made from genetically modified wheat.

The key word there is THREAT. Greenpeace made it sound like the threat had already materialised in its social media campaign. Pic: greenpeace.org.au

There was no justification for the claim, and no thorough examination of the merits or otherwise of GM crops.

Not only had Baker’s delight never used genetically modified wheat and never intended to there is none available to use.

The one small experimental plot (enclosed) in a laboratory near Canberra had already been whippersnipped by Greenpeace.

This implication by Greenpeace that a company is doing something wrong, in which it involves the public and media, or in this case Facebook and then the company being required to recant something it has never done nor intended to do is typical of Greenpeace tactics.

Today I am shocked to actually report Greenpeace doing something right,The relevant members must be sent off to the Gulag for "Re Conditioning" immediately.

Seriously though Greenpeace in Holland are currently tying themselves to Anchor Chains and fouling propellors on a Super Trawler capable of literally Vacuuming up our fish out of massive nets,These bastards have fished out much of the North and South Atlantic and are supposedly now coming to Australia.

 

The Gillard Government denies they have given them permits to rape our fish stocks saying they have not yet applied,If that was so then why are Greenpeace at Defcon5 regarding this Super Trawler in attempting to stop it coming to Australian Waters.

Furthermore who would run such an expensive exercise as sailing half way around the world unless they already had signed contracts in hand,My bet is once again Labor are Lying to Australians.

Possibly an embargo on suppliers and businesses such as listed on p9 of "Naked Extortion", with letters, emails directed at management, explaining your reasons.

If WWF, Greenpeace can do it, why not ?

This looks good Stephen all Aussie products all you can buy, the socks look great. But hang on wood you be saying that the greens are trying to control these products here

Hopefully not Barbara but they are trying to muscle in on the Australian beef industry. They tried to have a go at JB Swift in Brazil about beef but the court there ruled in favour of Swift.

They are trying to control forestry with any products not certified by them promoted as "illegal" whether they are or not. Harvey Norman has felt this.

They try to control fishing and aquaculture, palm oil and several other products.

Their aim is to control entire supply chains of about 15 commodities.

A company called Solaris (paper and packaging) has been stopped from operating by their actions in the Western suburbs of Sydney where unemployment is high .

About a page back I wrote about a totally unfair campaign against Baker's Delight when it had done absolutely nothing wrong.
