I second that Peter. We need to support Matt & Janet. Send a link to this discussion to all in your email address book. Go to youtube to the page it is up on & play it there. The more times it is played on youtube the more notice will be taken of it.
John, Peter and Dale, thanks for the support. This is not something we wanted to do, but have no choice at this point in time. On behalf of our creditors, we have to try this appeal direct to the public. We've worked through all the existing channels. The bureaucracy is against us, and the elected members seem unwilling to take on the green monster. Hopefully we can shame them into honouring their original commitment to allow our development in this location.

Thanks so much for being willing to stand up on issues such as the CPRS. Without good people willing to put their heads above the parapet, we would all be subject to a horrendous additional tax that does nothing for the environment.

I think this is the one point to be made time and again: What the green groups and DEC have done has nothing to do with good environmental protection and care. This is all about control and quashing freedom of speech.
The Thompsons are indeed owed a vote of thanks for their yeoman work in defeating the carbon tax fraud and related global warming scams. Consecrating the situation to the Big Chief and His mother should never be underestimated, no matter how marked the crisis. Even the most die-hard environmental terrorist is no match for His mother.
A note of caution: if you do call upon the Big Boss's jewish mother, don't be surprised to see some fur fly. It could get ugly for a while, but should turn out alright in the end.
I am going to play these videos at least 10 times each today. If all agmates did the same, and also asked their contacts to do it, as Dale said 'the more notice will be taken of it.'

We need more videos like this. Real stories, real people who have been affected by bungling bureaucrats. Is there a video of Cate Stuart's nightmare?
Yes Peter, the Thompsons and others 'deserve all the support we can muster.'

RIP Lindley and each and every other person who has been pushed to the end.
This story has made the big time, Australia's biggset blog site, Andrew Bolt Blog has Matt & Janet's story & video clips in an article called, Green Laws & a Dead Business.

[click here] to see Bolts posting and to comment on it. The more comments that on this site, the bigger the issue must be & even Bolt's detractors keep an eye on what goes on there.
Thanks John Leal- a much more direct way for this important story.

Been out on the bike (bloody cold) and something that goes under the radar all to often in cases like this is-What about the Bank?
Why are they so gutless? How can they sit back and watch their loan portfolio's get stitched up.

Says a lot about the power of these faceless( though we have a face and name of one of them that thinks he is worth $6000per Hour to destroy his clients!) unelected Depts- when the banks won't challenge them.

Could be working together for all we know.
Thanks, Annette. As for other stories.... there are more poignant ones out there, and it's my hope that we can get others affected to agree to such a level of publicity. It's a tough move to make, to be honest. Really putting yourself out there. It's kind of scary. But with good Mates behind us, we'll be alright. Of course, Cate and Mark have been in the public eye for some time. It's largely due to their involvement and encouragement that we've gone as far as we have.

I've always said that meeting good people has been our silver lining to a big bloody cloud.

Mega Cheers,
Janet
Rory, thanks for that. I'm envisioning the Big Boss's Jewish mother making fur fly. What a collision of images that is! :-)

Cheers,
Janet
Rob, thanks for all your support through this nightmare. Of course, when one has horrendous things happen as with the Schoombe part of our story, we become suspicious. We are not sure who to trust. But I must say this: the bank and all of our creditors have backed off and given us time to sort this out. Any one of our creditors could have taken action before now, and they have every right to. They realise, I'm sure, that it won't do them much good, as you can't get blood out of a stone. But still, they are not harassing us. We've tried to keep the lines of communication open, and to reassure these good people that we are not walking away from our obligations.

Now having said all that, it would be nice to have some bigger guns come in and support us. I think the problem is that people are afraid to put themselves on the radar screen. I mean, look at all the producer organisations that were unwilling to stand up and fight the CPRS. They all capitulated, so as to appear to get along. The tide is turning, though. Average people have had enough, and are beginning to be willing to show their anger.

Also, Wilson Tuckey is one of the few people that has been willing to stand up and state unequivocally that what has happened to us is wrong. He and his wonderful staffers have spent a lot of time and energy trying to help us. That man is a champion, and without his support for the last 18 months, we probably would not still be standing today. (Ummm, if you can call this standing! LOL)

Cheers,
Janet
