Hi Denise,

Although I disagree with almost everything Christine Milne said, she answered the questions put to her, which made her look like a breath of fresh air next to Penny Wong.  She drove a stake through Gillard, in effect calling her 'not nuanced' and I agree: she will damage brand Labor even more, if she continues to perform like that.   Milne also wedged Newman on the environmental issues, and blamed the Gunns problems on lack of central environmental control.  Milne also answered the 'Afghanistan question' very well.

I watched and thought that Bolt etal have completely underestimated her.

Wong struggled to answer any questions directly.

The only thing they both did was both trash Tony Abbott which is starting to grow old and lame.

Hi Jan,

I would be interested to know what you think of Milne compared to Wong.  I think Gillard and Labor are in deep trouble now.

She is certainly a doozy Ruth.

Thanks for posting those tapes,  as we don't get to see it til later this afternoon along with The Bolt Report.

Ruth, When we were all very tuned in to the ETS, Christine Milne absolutely hammered Penny Wong who was the Minister charged with getting the ETS through. We watched her question Wong and she was left looking like a fool turning around to her advisors for the answers. I daresay she hasn't forgotten how incompetnet she looked and of course Milne has gone from strength to strength and has always been the one to fear.

Hi Jan,

As I posted previously, I believe Christine Milne is more dangerous than Bob Brown was in his term.

But even if PM Gillard and Sen Christine Milne cross swords, they still have to rely on each others party's presence to stay in government.

Whether we like it or not, the Greens and Independents hold the numbers for their support of the Labor government. Even if they have a complete breakdown in communication (have a bitch fight), I don't think the Green party would allow cessation of their agreements with the Labor government.

To do so would only hasten their eventual end in government. (Bring It On ).

Jan, Milne has been steering the ship all along, there aren't too many more surprises as she has had her way from the minute they had a senate majority, and then took control of the Reps with the indos. She has been pulling the strings.

.Jan Courtney said   I truly think Milne is a very dangerous and driven woman.  It frightens me somewhat to think of the damage she could do to Australia and Australians if given the chance.

Heather,

Brown may have been a moderator to hold Rhiannon and Sarah 'hyphen' at bay.

I wonder if our favourite Independent Jokeshott will go  "Áll the way," with the Greens.

You do not understand how bizarre some of these people are. Many of them have no effective plan for land management and all they know about the land has come from Agricultural Science courses at Uni   or Environmental Science courses run by the green belt nutters who have these weird ideas thought up by some potheads or ex druggies still dealing with drug fueled fantasies about rural living. They do not understand the hard facts the way the born and bred on the land do or those who have successfully managed properties or their own land for years. You are dealing with seriously deluded and delusional people. I thought you all understood that.

Hi Cate,

I'll mirror what Ian has posted, and include Britt(any) in that a well. I would suspect that your boy is also growing up in the same mold.

Congratulations to you all.

And that bit of Hansard:

The Honorable Richard Jones - waffle. Jones came from Bangalow NSW, not far from Byron Bay and in the other direction not all that far from Nimbin. Say no more - Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

All the usual directions for Mr The Honorable R.J.

Inquiry into Transgrid - clearing power line path in Kosciuzko N.P. (he'd never heard about bushfires under powerlines causing plasma fires)

Chipstop - save the trees.

Animal Liberation NSW, 1996 sit in at BUNGE piggery - now that would have been nice for one of the cafe-latte intelligentia.

Save the Kangaroos - before the days of - farm kangaroos as they do not pollute with methane farts.

Jeez mate, you get 'em all, hey?

Denise I am sure it looks very different when you take a heap of drugs and are lost in the fantasy land or off with the fairies so to speak. Maybe they are just a bunch of aging druggies who get all hyped up about the place and they wallow in their own filth and are unable to notice it because of the numbing effect of recreational drugs.

And there in lies the danger of flawed thinking without moral guidance. Look at Bill Clinton and some of these people still do take the occasional puff or two or do other things because unless they have really strong moral guidelines in their life old habits die hard. Their thinking is ultimately flawed.

Also bear in mind the numbing number of barristers and legal people that take cocaine or other illegal substances and how that must affect their judgement on matters of law. I am not saying every barrister or every legal person but there are people who are not what they appear to be.

There are a lot of people out there who indulge themselves and they have power over other people's lives and we are not just talking drugs but alcohol as well. To me it is kind of crazy. I am a middle of the road person, moderation in everything. I do not say ban alcohol but we need controls and moderation. In drugs no, I am extreme. Ban them and death penalty for dealers. On that level I agree with the Indonesians. Drugs are a social scourge and until you have seen kids born to druggie mums and how these kids have been affected, and how drugs blight their lives from birth, you will perhaps think I am an extremist. However this is a separate issue. I just do not think we have the right to destroy innocent little lives by drugs or by abortion. Let these b****** be spayed like cattle en masse or they should have their children taken away at birth and given a decent chance at life like normal kids.

Denise Scanlan said:

You're right Ilana, but there are now second and third generations. Have heard that some of the kids have escaped the drug lifestyle that is so evident as it is openly displayed everywhere. Trouble is many of these drugged up lifestylers moved on to become public servants, or government advisors. Hence the do gooders taking over.

There's more to winning the Culture War than just getting rid of Bob Brown and his Greenie extremists. Here's one person's view of the battlefront...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0d0uzRalHY&feature=relmfu

I have a couple of sayings that suit these green women to a tee.

"Ego is directly inverse to Talent".

Therefore the More Ego you have then the less Talent you posess all these women are highly Egotistical and whenever they state a policy ideal they expose the shallowness of their actual talent and thought process for the common good,Exactly not who you want in Politics or any power position.

Ego though is one of Natures survival safeguards anyone with that little real Talent and no Ego would probably neck themselves if they knew just how Pathetic they are in real life.

The other saying is" Selfishness is the root cause of all Evil" and the selfishness is apparent with these Green Senators where they are so focussed on their own power trips they have left behind a littany of Failed Personal relationships, bodes well not for giving a damm about Australians in general.

In this area even though Bob Brown has a non mainstream personal relationship privately he has shown by the endurance of that relationship that selfishness is not an overriding agenda,That is why he came across as more moderate.

However with Milne and the others there is not even a hint of thought about impacting the average Australian,With the blame for the CO2 Scam squarely laid at the feet of Milne it becomes obvious Brown was but a powerless figurehead for at least 12 months, therefore any wonder he parachuted out.

It seems in hindsight it was the arrival of arch trotskyist Lee Riahanon federally that swayed the balance of power against Brown.

Milne it would seem has far more in common with the Butcher Stalin than any of the others,A very dangerous person indeed and one that must be deleted at the earliest possible convemience from any position of influence.

She is up for Election this time as a sitting member I believe wheras Rhianon will go next time unless Tony Abbot gets his double dissolution a must have in my opinion.
