For Like minded people who like to see-

Are they carbon hypocrites, tax grabbers or power seekers?

Every day we hear some pious politician bleating about the end of the world unless we reduce our usage of carbon fuels like coal, oil and gas.

But every day we see them using taxpayers’ money to promote motor rallies, international sports functions, games, expos, carnivals, tourism and their own frequent jaunts to yet another conference in yet another posh foreign location. Every one of these activities requires the burning of tanker loads of carbon fuel for its success.

Are they fools, do they think we are fools, are they hypocrites, or are they just whipping up climate hysteria to disguise their greedy grab for more taxes on everything we use and more control of everything we do?

G'day Viv,
I value highly your informative contribution to the science of the climate change debate. I too have for many years attempted to publicise the scientific "holes" in AGW, by way of letters to the editor, particularly to The Australian, the most balanced of the mainstream mass media. Mostly my letters seem to end up in the editor's waste paper bin, and I am becoming more and more irrate, particularly when I am bombarded every morning by the ABC's never ending procession of second rate alarmists posing as scientific researchers. I figured that if the urban turkeys wont listen I may as well preach to the converted. At least I will feel better having blown off steam. My contribution this evening to the Oz letter's editor, prompted by the Nicholas Stern spruik of this morning, is attached below:

"So now we need to take a Stern view of climate change. Those folks out there, who thought that "they" were going to make "them" pay, should now rethink their position. It is not just those dirty, filthy, polluting miners and farmers who are going to pay. All of us are to become vegetarian, and we are to hand over control of our affairs to the UN. Yes folks the same UN controlled by a bunch of third world dictators who stood by and watched the genocides of Rwanda and Bosnia and can't even run their own countries let alone the world. But never mind it is highly probable that iPods and mobile phones will be priced out of the range of average folks long before we are forced to exist on soya tofu."

Congratulations to Viv Forbes, a true hero in the battle to defend primary producers and miners from the wickedness of the global warming religion which like other false religions demands human sacrifices.

We really hate coalminers, they are tearing up the ground
They dig out coal for energy and spread it all around
They keep folk warm in winter and cook their food to eat
Instead of coal they ought to burn camel dung and peat.
Coal powered all those steamships that let people roam at will
And ran the rotten railways – how we hate that whistle still.

The masses need not travel, they should stay close to their caves
So we who are the masters will know where to find our slaves.
Farmers are a menace, they burn diesel to grow grain
And then sink dams around their farms to use up all the rain
The destruction of the planet's a relentless ticking clock
Wound up by greedy graziers with their ruminating stock

We’re leading a religion, it’s the worship of Great Gaia
Each wicked non-believer must be branded as a liar
The sceptics and deniers will be cast onto the pyre
All praise the priests of darkness who tend the temple fire.
We hate minerals and animals as we have said before
But now the truth is out there, we hate people even more
All humans are a viral plague upon this planet earth
Each woman spreads the plague around just by giving birth

If we can stop all mining lots of people won’t get fed
And then the cold will get them and they’ll quickly drop down dead
There’s room upon this planet for just a few of us
So why don’t all the rest of you give up without a fuss?
Cease raising wretched children, forget you have a soul
Breed no more sheep or cattle and don’t dare go mining coal.

Viv & John, I agree with Steve. Keep fighting the good fight. We're going to witness a rapid deterioration in the global warming ponzi scheme. These things usually last longer than we think they can, but once they begin to fall, they fall fast. This one's going to make Dutch Tulip Bulbs look like great investments.

After the fall of Berlin and the death of Hitler in 1945 the victorious Allies USA, USSR, Britain and France partitioned the defeated aggressor nation and launched a program which included the deindustrialisation of Germany. The Soviets pursued this policy with great enthusiasm, sending eastward by rail everything they could lay their hands on in the form of machine tools, metal stocks of every kind including huge quantities of scrap metal, chemical stocks and even entire factories.

There is now a plan to deindustrialise Australia, but this plan is worse in that it also incorporates the destruction of Australia's capacity to produce food. That plan is called the ETS, which will result in the massive export of Australian jobs, Australian dreams and Australian hopes.

Our own government is not just threatening. It is planning - with the support of the Liberal Party Leader - to inflict on this country the kind of damage which was inflicted on East Germany as retribution for international crimes. What crimes have Australians committed to deserve such punishment? Why should our own government behave as if it were a hostile occupying military power?
