Michael and bro Al, may i diplomatically appeal to your good nature, and suggest a little time out for Matt and Janet - just temporarily at this point in time?

I am sure that as always, we will hear from them both, when there is something to update on, as all on the site know, they are such troopers, and wonderful people who do not forget their mates, and the support that has been given to them. I humbly suggest, just a little patience at the moment please mates.

The DEC have become very similar to some of the savage bushfires they themselves have recently caused, and until they are brought under control and/or extinguished more farms and homes will be at risk.

Well said Roo!

                  While this is getting a dust off I  had occassion to be talking to Dougal Gordon  ceo of Aust Lot Feeders Assoc. I had a broadside at him for his "Jews in the ghetto- Vichy French" defense that they put up to help one of their own. Matt was the WA pres of ALFA I think.

            I ph Jim Cudmore ( who I have met personally and seems like a stand up sort of man)- Jim is head of the board and he very meekly said that there was nothing that they could do for M&J ( shit scared he was to take the greens on). This dissappointed me at the time but now I have young Dougal telling me porkies about how the Grain fed levy works- well - we went from him telling me how it all works to him seeking higher interpretation and being quite  compliant . I found out today that he has gone to RUSSIA for 2 weeks ( that won't save him!)
