Real People - facing the forgotten issues with friendship and a little fun.
This week Leon is joined with Matt and Janet Thompson of Narrogin Beef Producers. Their story is one of hope, anticipation, betrayal, bankruptcy and a lost life. Matt and Janet are Fairdinkum Australians let down by a system that is controlled and governed by Eco Fascists. We stand with them in defence of Individuality, Freedom and Truth. A powerful amazing story. Listen

From where I'm sitting-
The key to M&J's legal battle is to quickly bring the "Just Terms " carbon case and any other pending actions to a head quickly and then to free up time and resources for the "strike back" against that out of control DEC over there.
Surely Dr Schoombee has some explaining to do?????? Got lawyer of the year for his trouble!!!
Permalink Reply by Michael Petterson on November 19, 2011 at 9:12am Ok,I thought there might be more details on where you where up to now,re the idiotic scum that have wrecked your business and it seems just about everything you hold dear. I'd dearly like to see DEC consigned to the garbage heap where they belong, for trying this stupid rubbish.

Permalink Reply by Beverley Prescott on November 19, 2011 at 9:46am I have been wondering also about what the bank has done - it is twelve months since we all swamped banks and others etc. with e-mails.
Obviously you are still in residence at the property?
Being on the other side of the continent, we would not hear much if anything is in the media in WA which it probably isn't anyway.
Oh forgot to mention that I got a surprise yesterday to see a truck driving by with the "Convoy of No Confidence" sign still on the side of his truck.
Mirriwinni Lime truck from the coast.
Permalink Reply by Janet H. Thompson on November 20, 2011 at 10:41am Hey, Bev. Thanks for caring. The NAB has been obstinate and determined to fight with DEC against us, rather than the logical joining with us (as a partner, as we always treated them and thought of them) to hold DEC to account. Ever since last October (when everyone inundated the bank and pollies), our situation has not changed. It's caught up in legal tit for tat. We're still on the property and attempting to hold the bank and receivers at bay while we try to pursue our case against DEC. We and our lawyers believe we have a good case...we just need leave to pursue it. As we know from Peter Spencer's experience, though, this is not as easy as the average citizen would like to believe.
Cheers to all,
Janet
Janet ,
If you'd come here in a leaking boat to xmas Is- you probably would have got a govt grant to set up a feedlot given your qualifications. Great example that our pathetic Govts set isn't it.
I had time to listen to the complete interview this morning and even though I know the story- it made me disgusted at the agenda- also more determined to do what I can to fight it.
Jo Nova is a champion too and gives a good summary at the end.
Permalink Reply by Beverley Prescott on November 20, 2011 at 9:40pm Do the right thing and you get penalised.
Do the wrong thing and the government loves you and cares for you!!!!
This country is all a bout t.
Seems like Indonesia reckons their wealth is going to other countries though by a post on the Galileo Movement discussion - one protestor reckons their wealth is being given to other countries - so do we all have the same problem?
Seems refugees are going to countries all over the world plus money being ripped off the countries who have any to give to poorer countries - we keep giving money away but I want to know where the government is getting this money to give away!!! I reckon we will be third world before too much longer and will need help as well.

I too took the trouble to listen to the whole podcast, notwithstanding that like you, I felt that I knew the story pretty thoroughly. And it was certainly worth the effort. Even though at 1/14 hours, it's a long listen! So I would like to add my congratulations and thanks to Leon, Matt, Janet and Jo N, while wondering whether at said 11/4 hours, it is indeed too big an ask from other than "rusted on" types, to persist.
Whatever, great that M&J are still feistily battling on, heads held high, from their home, and as Janet has said, "it ain't over 'till it's over" - or rather, the Singing Fat Lady variant of that! :-) More strength to your bows, you are way over due for some manna from heaven. (Is that a record for metaphors, Janet?).
I am wondering what the current position is, with the Thomsons' local representatives, both state and federal? Do they have either deaf, or unsympathetic ears to the situation as it stands?
Cheers and good luck bro' al

Permalink Reply by Michael Petterson on November 23, 2011 at 7:50pm Janet I apologize if I'm asking too much, but would we be able to get a general update on your position and what the current position is, with the Thomsons' local representatives, both state and federal? Do they have either deaf, or unsympathetic ears to the situation as it stands?
Permalink Reply by alan mikkelsen on November 23, 2011 at 9:35pm Michael, we are on the same wavelength. As you will see above, I asked the same question of Janet and Matt earlier this week, namely: "..... I am wondering what the current position is, with the Thomsons' local representatives, both state and federal? Do they have either deaf, or unsympathetic ears to the situation as it stands? .... "
If that is too sensitive an issue for our friends to comment on at this point, no doubt we would all understand.
Cheers bro' al
