03/08/2011 update: Due to high demand - for those people who are not members of Just grounds Community and still wishing to RSVP for the Convoy - please email the following only;

Your name;

Your Convoy route;

Number of people / or vehicles;

For example; Cate Stuart, Convoy number 1, 2 people, travelling in a truck

Email your rsvp to tullochard@bigpond.com please insert in the subject box "Convoy RSVP"

It is with great pride, that I am able to announce as an exclusive to the Just grounds Community, that there are Australian's who are not prepared, like you, to be silent any longer!

Mick Pattel is the organizer for this progressive joining convoy, with the board members of NRFA - much support for this to take place as the frustration and no confidence in the Federal Government is reiterated over and over again.

There is movement in Australia, the word has passed around,

A bob tailed truck is leaving Darwin NT on the 17th,

Canberra bound.

Now the truck will bolt from Katherine yards on the 18th of August 2011,

No doubt the mob will be joining him, on his journey down.

A progressive Convoy is what he has sent the message for far and wide,

The call will be answered without a moments hesitation from all who can drive.

So down your tools, put your leave notice in - for today we become part of Australian history together.

As the Convoy gathers more vehicles on its journey, watch for updates here and in the media. Mick will be sending a finalized itinerary with speakers, driving routes, parking places for all this to take place. He rang this morning, and is working on it diligently.

Feedback is positive, with many welcoming his proposal. It is time for action, its time for history in Australian Government to be reminded that the people are who they must listen to..

Check your tyres, oil and water, fuel up, and join in when it comes through your town...

The estimated time will be 5 days from Katherine, NT to ACT, - the week that Parliament is sitting..

Make banners for your vehicles, to show your vote of no confidence - people want an election..

The Prime Minister this morning told Laurie Oaks, "Democracy is not an opinion poll Laurie..."

Quite right Prime Minister, it is not. Democracy is a vote...

I did read the page on what "anonymous" is about - i like how it is not advocating anything at odds with the Convoy is standing for.
